How about 12" long barrels? Completely different tone, like a whole octave!

Where you get those?
Well with the stock tail pipes, you could always go with a weld-on, or you might even be able to find a set of aftermarket universal tips that clamp on but either way, you’d have to cut off the balled ends in order to do that.
Who knows, maybe perhaps part of the high-price of these might just be attributed to the fact that they bolt on just like, and in the same exact location as the factory tips, I dunno.
I know they were pricy, but I think they were well worth the cost. Easy to put on, easy to adjust to get them exactly straight. My only worry is how well the polished stainless holds up.

I'm sure the quality is worth it, and the ease of install. But, when my "want" exceeds my budget, I have to look for other avenues.
Anyone who installed these direct fit tips, is there any hidden pipe length that will allow these to stick out a bit further than stock? My tailpipes are 1-2 inches shorter now after my Borla muffler was installed without any adapters...
I don’t remember which brand they were but there are some brands that purposely make them so they stick out on inch or 2 past the bumper. Maybe looking for those will make it sit somewhat flush.Anyone who installed these direct fit tips, is there any hidden pipe length that will allow these to stick out a bit further than stock? Not even 3 months old. So I have a warranty claim on Carvens 100 year warranty. Both tips are perfect the only issues are with their logo
no drain hole so water just sits in pipe cant be good
You guys know anything about these? For the price, it seems like a pretty decent alternative to spending $200 on a set. I don't know about their quality, though.

Yea, I noticed the 4" inlet after I posted it. I'm just looking for a different option for 5" tips, other than the $200 versions that are typically recommended on here.

Ever look at these? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/jex-irpt5012/overview/
Used them on my last 2 trucks, didn't have any issues with them and saved a ton of money.
Those look good. I haven't seen those, previously. Thanks for the link!

Those are just chrome, tho. Not really
Much different than the stock tips.
