have Carven 5 inch polished tips and the have rust after 2 years not good

Those are just chrome, tho. Not really

Other than being 5", I believe that's the main draw here. You can always just paint or powder coat them as well, my powder coater charged like $15 to do them. So for the set I was out around $115, because I wanted mine black as well.

Carven and Moes, among a few more I think, make both shiny and powder-coated. Did you weld yours on yourself? I’m no welder so for me it was worth it to just spend a little more money to buy a nice polished stainless set of tips that were built to bolt right up to the factory locations.

Yeah these are just universal so cut off/weld on. We do have a welder here so that did save me some money.

He did my wheels for my 66 buick a few months ago as well, and I have to say for a very reasonable price. They were gunmetal gray before, I had him change that to black while keeping the chrome lip.
