I have an appointment to get it done Thursday at 8am. I hope they get it done semi quickly since I have to wait for it
Yea hopefully. Once you get it can you reply on here and let us know any differences you might notice? I've been out of my truck for so long I forgot what it felt like driving it. So I cant tell a difference. All i think is i have even more lag on my pedal . I even timed it and it was from the first stomp till it launched was 2.78 seconds-2.10 seconds. I ended up purchasing a Pedal Commander past night cause I hate the lag.

I will do that of course. Pedal Commander is amazing. I would hate to drive my truck without it. Pulling into heavy traffic could even be unsafe without it

That is exactly how I feel. How long have you had the PC? And what are you MPGs with it

Just picked my truck up from getting the AEM and it's hard to tell if it's any different. I have a 120 mile commute so tomorrow will be a better tell. So far around town it FEELS a bit better off the line, but my loaner car waa a total **** so it may just be me being hyper sensitive. I'm really not concerned honestly.

I got it right after I bought my truck. With a 2" leveling kit, and running 33/12.50/20 tires I'm still getting up to 25 mpg on the highway, and 18 - 19 mpg locally. I live in the hills on curvy roads. I'm happy with the mpg for sure

That's good to hear. Yea I was in a hemi for about 8-9 months so when i jumped in my ecodiesel i could just be hyper sensitive as well

It's different, without a doubt, I just cant Figure out what exactly it is. Exhaust sounds different at idle (I have a DPF back straight pipe) I can hear the turbo veins cycle now, other than that, thus far who knows.

I'm more concerned with tracking a notary down to finalize this!

I just got the letter today and am submitting the claim. My issue is that I was trying to sell the truck... good for me the sale didn't happen yet as I get the bigger compensation but wondering what people think this will do to the 'value' of the truck. Value is defined as what people will pay for it, KBB and NADA etc aren't worth the paper you print them out on but I can see this going one of 3 ways... 1) No change in value 2) Decrease in value because people who are not 'in the know' have a perception that these eco-diesels have "issues" or 3) an Increase in value because now no matter how many miles you have on your truck (and I just hit 120k) you get 4 additional years and 40,000 miles of free extended warranty coverage That is transferable) on these emission parts and some fuel delivery parts. Only bummer now is that I have to wait for all of this to work itself out before I sell the truck...Thoughts?

i got it done this morning. There were two recalls on it. Took right about two hours to get everything done. So I know what y'all are wondering. How's it run? Holy crap!!! I thought it was my imagination at first. It runs amazing!!! Way more power than it ever had before!! It's like I got a new truck that came with radio and the seat adjusted how I like it!! Not sure on the mileage yet though. I reset it after I got fuel and it hasn't settled itself yet. I think it's going to be the same though. With more power!!!

So really more power? That's cool. Like I said before maybe I've been out of my truck for so long and in a hemi I went down instead of up. Glad to hear this. And since I've had my truck back it has not had any issue either. So did you take the Pedal commander off when you took it in?

No. I left it there. It doesn't do anything to your warranty

Give it time. It's deceiving. Those were my exact thoughts initially. The truck ran phenomenal. Since that initial drive I've been pretty disappointed. The truck settled into a very lazy temperament after I logged some decent miles. In my case it's very laggy now, takes alot of throttle to get it to wake up. It seems they dialed alot of torque management into the throttle. Truck does have better power, but getting the power when you want it is my issue. Gonna get a GDE tune. I don't want much, just get this turbo lag and dead pedal feel to go away and I'll be a happy camper.

I run the Pedal Commander and so far have no lag issues at all. It was 50 miles to get home. How many miles are you talking about?

That's exactly how I felt but I thought it was just from hemi to my old truck. I just purchased the PC and it arrived at the house today. When I get off work tonight I'm installing it and I will give you an update on the difference. I'm pretty stoked to get some of that lag out of my pedal.

I drive 160 round trip to work and back and I havent been able to get over 23mpg. Have you guys tried the biodiesel? I have a buddy who showed me a pic of his mpgs after filling up and driving a but and he was at 29mpg.

It takes all of five minutes to install too. Maybe six lol

My mileage isn't that great anymore. I put a 2" leveling kit on it and run a 33/12.50/20 tire and it knocked my mileage down. I still get up to 25 mpg on the freeway if I do a lot of freeway driving. I've not tried the biodiesel. Can't get it around here
