Is this like getting the truck detailed just with something better than wax?? What did it cost you and how long did it take to do?

Yes it's the ultimate wax job that lasts cause it's clear and drys hard. Will definitely make keeping it clean easier. Truck has never looked so good. Seeing how I have a black truck had to do it. It was speedy however like around $1,300. Prices vary depending on where ya go. Protecting the paint as much as possible is real important to me. Will get some pics up later today hopefully.

It was a day job. They kept it overnight in shop to let it dry. Picked it up following morning.

So it isn’t a myth. You can have a clean black truck!! I was starting to believe it wasn’t possible. Lol. Nice truck!! How are you liking the Fuel Assault wheels?? I’ve been thinking about getting those for a while.

I'm digging the Fuels. Girlfriend says they look like flower pedals! Lol. Thanks for comment! I appreciate it.

Considering ceramic myself. How long will it last? And what brand did they use? Local shop has 1-4 year ceramic options and use a brand called IGL

I had my black truck ceramic coated about 10 months ago. I have washed this truck less than my last Max Steel truck as it always looks clean. While I curse the rain as it prevents me from fishing, it does a heck of a job keeping the truck clean. When I do wash it, it makes the job very easy. No scrubbing, just a wipe and all dirt comes off. Drying is easy as well and it still feels slippery like it's just been clayed and waxed. I will definitely do this again on future vehicles.

I vote against doing ceramic yourself unless you're a really good detailer. Allow me to explain. I'm a descent detailer, been doing it for years. I know the brands, processes, etc. However, when it comes to paint correction, count me out. My detailer spent two days with two buffers and multiple pads getting my paint ready for ceramic. Keep in mind this is a brand new paint job too. Late on the second day it was ready for ceramic. it took another day in a half for the ceramic. THREE days total. Then a few trips he had to come back and catch a few high spots (hard to see on white paint). This is a detailer that had 6 beg LED shop lights on my truck at different angles so he could see the paint and what needed to be done. So I heavily advise having it professionally done for this very reason. I never knew the process was so involved until I came home from work each day seeing the work he had put in. BTW, I spent $1500 for the entire truck to be done, inside and out, everything.

It is a lot of work. When I did my truck I had over 20 hours of work into it
