I have a 2011 ram 1500 4d quad cab and my front end sits to low was looking around a different leveling kits? but idk what the best way to do it would be dont want the truck to ride like crap i did spacers with a jeep once and it was never the same. What would be a good way to lift the front end? Also one of my front shocks is bad so probably would make sense just to change them all anyone know what a good aftermarket replacement would be?

You need a set of Bilstein front shocks. I think 1500 is the "model" number, but double check that. They're adjustable for height. They ride good. If you look in my sig, you'll see that's what I run in my 11. I did Bilsteins all the way around. I'm very satisfied with how my 11 looks and rides.

Look in the Lifted section. You'll find your answer there.

Check with Matt or Nick before you buy. Always good to patronize sponsors.

Is your truck a 4x4?

2.1 on bilsteins solves your bad “shock” and will bring your truck level with little to no front droop. You can keep your stock wheels. Rear ride height does not change with adding just shocks. The ride will be firmer than stock is a negative, but the positive is that with that firmer ride comes better cornering and responsiveness.

We recommend a leveling strut. Which one depends on what you do with your truck. Aftermarket UCA's are also recommended when leveling especially if you plan to off road. Message me for more info and pricing. We offer most brands and discounts for the members here!

We recommend to either swap out the UCA's when doing the leveling kit or wait until your ball joints need to be replaced. They are the week spot on the RAM 1500 suspensions especially the earlier 4th gens. New aftermarket UCA's will have more durable UCA's and also handle the angles of a leveling kit and some added travel of an aftermarket strut setup

I’ll do a Rancho level with their quick lift struts and rear shocks. Is basically 2” front, and all 4 corners firmness can be adjusted with a little knob to go from softer than stock ride, stock or firmer/extra firmer when you tow. I had that kit before and loved it.

@jws123 You dont have to replace upper control arms unless you plan on some fairly serious offroading on that 2” level. The other aspect is at a 2011 or 2012 I gather from your post you may want to get them as they should, should I say, have new balljoints which us a plus.
Mine is on a 2.1 Bilstein level over a year and no issues or evidence of added stress, but mine just sees sandy beaches and occasional dirt roads, not any legit offroading.

With a 2011 due to the earlier Differential you don't want to go more than 2.1. I had 2" spacers on my 2011 for 30000 miles with no problem but the Bills at 2.8 made the CV angles horrible until I put a diff drop kit in.

@ThunderMug95 , did you do just the Bilstein 2.1 on front or something on the back as well?
