This gives me faith as I just want to tow a 27' Flying Cloud.

That should be an easy tow. By the way, we picked up our trailer from a guy in Montana, Deer Lodge I think it was (we got it in 2011). They were really nice and let us stay one night at their place before we headed home. Make sure you post a picture of your trailer.

N-fab epyx. The only down side for me is they attach to the pinch weld with no frame support. That being said, I'm 6'2 350 pounds and they can hold me no problem. I wanted full length with the 2 loop/drop steps and these were what I settled on. They're one of the more affordable options that I found. Installed solo on the ground, nothing special needed.

42' Heartland Elkridge. It tows pretty well to be the 6.4 Hemi. I am getting close to a regear as I moved back to southern WV, so I have lots of steep grades. But overall I'm happy. I love this truck.

What rear end do you have?? What’s the weight of the trailer??

I have the 4.10 rear. I may regear to 4.88s at some point unless I trade up to a Cummins before then.

Weight of the trailer is 13k empty. It tows well for a gas engine and the truck handles it very well for such a long trailer.
