Has Anyone Tried Dorman Caliper Covers

okay time for me to catch a verbal beat down here... but here I go anyways:

I don’t like the way my dirty, silver Caliper look on my truck that is never dirty, and has no other silver on it.

I came across these metal dorman 11-0005f on amazon (also on eBay) which are way less expensive and I like them more than the rivited “HEMI” or “RAM” ones we’ve all seen that are quite expensive and not quite to my taste. I’m not hatin’ On guys that have them tho. Still better than stock.

These dorman ones are a little more subtle and I have some pops of red on my beast that would tie into them nicely. IMO!

I went for amazon for the easy return if they suck or don’t fit.

I have them and really like them... you can't see them real well with my new wheels but here's a picture. They are very solid construction and were easy to install.

no you will have to jack it up and pull the wheel.

If your wheel openings are far enough apart you should be able to install them without removing the wheels, I have the "MPG" and was able to, it looks like the "Van Halen" ones brackets install the same way though?

Great effort, but the MGP covers, in my opinion, are miles ahead of that... How often do you repaint them?

Once and saved $185 but I know people don't like being peasants

After hearing guys go through northern winters with salted roads and never having any trouble with the covers I was sold. I thought long and hard about painting mine, but ultimately went the opposite direction. For me, the price paid was worth the convenience and confidence of a life long, hassle free product.

Who are the main manufactures of the covers? Is there just a few? Most comments I have ready seem to indicate the quality is pretty good.

The only two I know of is the Dorman & MPG .......
