I leveled my 2wd with RC coils, love the result and the truck drives fantastic.I then went to a 275/65/20 tire, truck still drives great, my question is would a change in shocks give me just a bit more height? with the larger tires it just looks like there should be a bit more space between the tires and fenders.I'm not looking to do anything drastic, as I said it drives great as is, here is a pic for reference. Look into bilstein 5100. They are adjustable shocks. Less than $100 per side on Amazon.

Can’t answer your question, but dude the black-n-silver with the graphics and the balls to go raised white letters out looks awesome !!! Nicely done ... Wish I could find some 35 x 12.50’s with RWL

Truck looks great!......I would leave it

I think if you go higher you'll lose ride quality unless you change to a spindle lift.....just my opinion...

Thanks, I don't want to do anything drastic, it really does drive great, I was hoping better shocks would give me just a bit more.

Toss a rear coil spacer in. I have 2wd lifted 4"/1.75"

Thanks, I used the RC level coil because I wanted to avoid spacers, but a rear spacer is a different deal correct? can you be more specific on what this would take? This is a little out of my territory.

I agree it's a bit much for shocks, considering that's what I paid for both sides. I doubt those spacers would have any effect on the front.

Thanks Bird, that may be the way I go, the 5100's may be more than I want to spend.

I would like this, but is it $99 per shock? that $400 before installation, I did find these rear spacers as Lifted2wd suggested, but won't just raising the rear push my leveled front back down? If not these Maxtrac rear spacers look pretty good.jSNBoTm.jpg

Reach out to CST. They seemed really reasonable. I'm running their lift. Day star has a rear spacer for the 2wd for 129.00 for the pair. You dont lose stock ride quality. Also this will not mess with the front or bring it down

Agreed. Not a fan of raised letters but on this truck it looks great

The maxtrac is only $62 and gives you a 1.5 rear lift as opposed to Day star 1" lift for $129, so I'm leaning towards Maxtrac.

I am still debating putting the Maxtrac 1.5 spacer in back or leaving the truck as is. I've read people have clunking noise and movement after adding rear spacers, anyone experience this?

I have a 1.75" spacer in the rear and have not experienced any movement or noise. I have towed and had no issues

If you increase rear height, I have some Maxtrax rear shocks Id sell cheap. They are their OEM ones that comes in the 4.5"/3" kit, I just swapped them our for Fox 2.0's
