Do you need to take dash a part and remove Security Gateway, to install cable?

Nope. Plugs in at the OBD Port. Takes about 5 mins to install.

Hello. This is my first post on this forum and I just bought a 2018 Ram. I purchased the bypass and received it yesterday.

I saw in previous posts that the directions should have come as a link in the confirmation email of my order but there wasn't a link.

I just installed the factory tow brake controller and module in my Ram and we are supposed to pick up our camper at 2PM but I need the bypass on so I can use AlfaOBD and OBDLinkMX to have the computer recognize the module and controller.

I emailed in[email protected] a bit ago from my order confirmation email but I haven't heard back yet.
