what's the air pressure in those 49's and 44's out of curiosity? do you use an onboard compressor to raise and lower the pressure as needed?

About 25 psi on road, 8 to 12 psi off road and down to 2-4 psi on snow. I have an onboard compressor and a bluetooth controlled valve system to inflate and deflate while driving.

It is from a friend of mine, an engeneer. He designed the bluetooth controlled valve system. The compressor is an of the shelf Fini. Really simple setup.

I don't think there is a system here in the states where you can run an Aggie line to each tire.

Here is a picture of a typical wheel with such a system:


There is a small faucet on the rim that you keep closed in normal driving. Then when you are on snow you attach the airlines between a fitting on the fender and the wheel and open the faucet and you are good to go.

I went on a testrip this weekend. I am very happy with the truck. No wobble or bumpsteer. Very nice road manners and the fuel consumption is not as bad as I feared.
