I just installed the afe long tubes and y pipe race series kit (no cats) my truck is a 2015, I ordered the 2019 setup as I didn't see the race series for 2015 it bolted right up except for the O2 sensor extensions but I made them longer and I had to cut off the rear flange as my setup didn't have that. All in all very happy with the looks fit and performance. I 100% reccomend afe quality is great and the name is known for good stuff.

Looks sweet for sure.

Did you just put headers and exhaust on your truck, or did you do a tune to it as well??
As I'm wanting to maybe get headers on my 2015, but for the expense, it's not really worth it in terms of "seat of the pants" get up and go as to what I've been made to believe.

What's your experience??

Thank you in advance for any info or thoughts passed along.

I did long tubes I already had done the muffler delete. I'll be going full stainless cat back setup soon. You could probly run stock tune if you get long tubes with cats. You won't have that big power but it will sure be noticeable over stock that's for sure. That said a tune will Definately help you I went with a Jay Greene tune and it made a huge difference in power but it wasn't necessary. In my case I went Alittle overboard I only wanted to fix the manifold leak and went Alittle too far. [emoji23]
I think my next upgrade is a cam then I'm done the engine should be almost bullet proof fixing all the known dodge issues that refuse to properly fix.

I'm in my work truck rite now but with headers straight pipe cold air intake and a tune on regular fuel I can go 0-60mph from one power pole to another so I'm more than happy.

Who ever told you that long tube headers did not give you any "seat of the pants get up and go" must be used to some other type of "seat of the pants get up and go" I don't even want to think about. You will find there is a VERY noticeable difference in the performance of your truck with long tube headers installed.

so do you think there is that much more over having a custom tune already? just trying to justify another 2 grand. i mean going from stock to a couple mods and a hemitune with trans tune was pretty freakin sweet..........I'm right on the edge of some ARH long tubes

I had a Hemifever custom tune when I installed the ARH long tubes . After the long tubes were installed I could feel a significant difference in the performance above and beyond what the tune gave me. I know they ain't cheap but I think they were worth the price in the additional performance. If you install them PM me before you install them and I'll give you a few tips on how to avoid some common problems with the post installation.

Another fan of ARH long tubes, though mine are on my Jeep. Installed them in 2013 and they still look and perform great, and of course sound fantastic. IMO. I already had mods, and did more mods when they were installed. So hard to say what added what, but my trap speeds definitely increased. Here's a little video I made with a camera on back of the Pig.

Does the AFE long tubes kit come with the gaskets, headers bolts and O2 sensor extensions?

Thanks, I'm definitely going to be ordering the AFE long tubes then
I ordered the afe twisted steel race series they don't come with cats. They're for a 2019 but they're cheaper with highest hp numbers and they fit on my 2015 ram with no problems. You just need to extend your 02 sensor wires as the extensions for that year won't work on our trucks. Super happy I went that way though it sounds great.
