Want more height from the back

Not a lot....but about 1-1.5” more

Currently have the bolted in lower spacer that comes with the ProComp stage 1 6” lift

So I have the 4.5” lower spacer with stock springs.

Can I safely swap to 1.5” springs to bring my total rear lift up to 6”?

Then....

If I can do that what shocks will work? Would the BDS Fox shocks for their 5” rear kit work and not be overextended?

From there if this setup works I guess I’d just have to get different bumpstops.

Would like to prevent getting gouged for custom shocks if possible and I’m planning on running the BDS front struts when this upgrade occurs.

Any help’s greatly appreciated...

No one with input on running the 4.5” ProComp rear kit with something like an Icon 1.5” spring?

Then would the bds Fox shocks work with this?

Convert, for now.

If you could send Fox measurements, they will get you one that fits. Some Ram/Jeep ones are very close.

What rear shocks do you have now ?
You can use the Icon springs but since you're spending the money on coils anyways why not just get 5" coil springs ?? BDS 034653R i think are the part number for their 5" springs.

Then any shock for 5-6" wil fit either option , 4.5" spacer with Icon 1.5" springs or with 5" coil springs.
Fox makes a 2.0 version for BDS, 98224759, 30.05" extended 18.45" compressed, i think you can run this with just 2" bumpstops but please measure.
Fox 2.0's 985-24-020 will also fit 29.55 extended 18.45 compressed, i bet this are the same Fox 2.0 for BDS except the last have the BDS sticker :)

I dont see why it wouldn't work. Aside from longer shocks, you may need adjustable control arms to get the axle back in check. Does your current kit have anything to change the geometry for the control arms (drop brackets, new arms etc.)? Also, I would make sure the bumpstops are proper for the springs/shocks... dont want either of them bottoming out BEFORE the bumpstops are being used.

Another option for coil springs is to get the part number of your factory Mopar springs and contact Deaver Springs with that info. They can make you coil springs that will provide any lift you want with any spring rate you want based from whathever the factory gave you. Then you can ask for heavier springs rates, linear or progressive rates, desired lift etc etc.

I have the ProComp shocks that came with the ProComp stage1 6” lift (not a fan so I’ll be happy to see them go)

I’d go for the bds 5” rear kit but I’d only get .5” more lift and pay more than just throwing sprints into my current setup since I’d need the whole rear kit from Bds.

My goal was to add the icon springs and some better rear shocks at the same time but wasn’t sure if that combo would work.

The ProComp from what I understand comes with one of the better rear control arm relo brackets as far as getting everything squared away after being lifted. I know the off-road guys don’t like the fact they hang lower than factory but like I said, from what I’ve seen, they do a good job at aligning everything?

Not sure how to check the bds fox shocks if theyll work for 6” of rear lift (when the bds kit comes with 5” rear lift).

I may look into them and see. But if cost is much more than some Icon 1.5” coils I probably won’t use Deaver.

I’m trying to lift the back higher not lower. Appreciate the heads up though.

Gotcha. Was just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head if the bds Fox one’s that come for the 5” rear coils would work with an extra inch of lift or not. Otherwise yeah it would have to be a custom length order...
