Installed the body lift and had some squeaking coming from the rear of the passenger cab. I Just re-torqued all body lift bolts to 65lbs. Still have the squeak. Any ideas to eliminate it would be appreciated lol.

With out air tools....the front half took a whole day and the rear 3/4’s of a day. Again, hand tools only and I installed headlights and fogs as well.
The prices to have it installed was expensive and I was not paying that lol. Since then I have purchased the right equipment lol.

Well it’s definitely the rear cab passenger side body mount. Took the bolt out, hit the body mount with some lube and re-torqued the bolt back down (loctite as well). Hopefully this solves it.

Bed bolts are 80ft/lb, are you sure that’s the culprit?

The Zone instructions stated 65ft/Lb. IDE post a video of the squeak but have no idea how to do it on Tapatalk.

Do you have a leveling kit as well where the noise could be un related but just happend to start after the install?

Another thing you could check (atleast after I installed mine) was where I cut the rear bumper to fit around the hitch I didn't cut far in enough so it would rub just a little causing a squeak (metal on metal) I had to pull my rear bumper off again and trim just a little. You can check by under the licences plate mount where the step is. Just move it in and back.
Also make sure the rear tire spare is secure

Mine also came with bed spacers that installed on the frame just for extra support I'm assuming with a load in the bed? Are these secure?

I have Bils at 2.8 and never heard a peep from them. I will double check the bumper this weekend. I don’t have a spare tire (train horn) and will double check the crush blocks. Ty!

Have a helper step on the board like that while you look underneath, being that simple to replicate and pronounced it should be easy to pinpoint.

Almost sounds like the board itself scraping a pinch weld or thin steel.

Looking at that now. Body Bolts seemed a little loose too. Zone specified 65lbs. I emailed them to verify that’s correct.

I just installed recently also and have no squeeks. Mine are all torqued to 65FT LBS also.

Mine's a 2011 so older than yours

Figured out the issue. My train horn compressor is mounted on the frame by the body mount. The Sheild/cover mounts to the bottom of the compressor and is rubbing the body mount after the lid . Just need to “reposition” it!

did it in my driveway in 6 hours.

Now that I bought an impact gun and everything else I should have used, I bet I could do it in that time.

I got a Milwaukee M18 impact a few years back. I dont think I would wrench without one now.

That’s pretty good!

To be honest, Ive taken my truck appart a few times before. So that did help a bunch knowing where stuff was.
