Body Mount Bushings

So my truck has developed a creak from the front end. It creaks when I open a door or get into my truck on the same side (open the drivers door, drivers side creaks, open pass. door, passenger side creaks, etc.) and I’m kind of suspecting body mounts. Even if they’re not the culprit, they probably are due for replacement anyways. Has anyone else had this problem?

PO was really rough on this truck and it won’t surprise me if every bushing and suspension component has to be replaced

Did you try throwing some oil or WD on your door hinges? They all develop a noise after awhile. If you throw some lube on the pivot point it will fix it.

Well the noise is coming from further up front of the truck. It's in the area of the front suspension components (most of which have been replaced already) I guess I'm gonna have to get under there with a friend around to open doors to see exactly where its coming from

With that said the door hinges could probably use some oil now that you mention it lol

I recall that some cabs had to have their body bolts tighten but cannot remember the years with the tendency.

I'll try to get under there and see if they're worn or loose. With how hot its been I haven't had a chance
