You all have been helpful with my 2011 so figured i would post here first.

I have a 2009 ram 2500 5.7 145k it is the 3rd gen body style even tho its a 09. I have noticed some of the parts i have to use are from a 08/09 it came from canada so its all weird guess it was made mid year or something aha.

Any ways its my fathers truck it has been a pain in the ass since we got it we can not figure out what this vibration is. It starts at 40mph you can feel it in seats/floor/steering wheel. Then hit bout 50 goes away not noticeable. 60mph+ the whole truck vibrates BAD again you feel it in the seats/floor/steering wheel i hit 70mph and had to slowdown it only gets worse its not driveable past 60 . Also No this is not death wobble had that already ans fixed it.

Things we have replaced/done.

rear driveshaft rebuilt cost me $450
took front driveshaft out to rule it out
did both ujoints in front axle
Both front hubs
had tires balanced at reg shop not stock tires so they are bigger they are stock tires off a 2013 or some **** will get pics.

I am at a loss here we are to far into it $$ to sell it. Could it still be tire related??? The only other thing i noticed is the transfer case leaks the tag on it says was redone in 2016.. i just keep filling it up Could the transfer case cause vibration like this? 4wd works fine also.

Any input appreciated.

The fact that it goes away about 50 and then comes back worse suggests wheel balance. That is a very typical wheel balance behavior. I'd suggest swapping front to rear, etc., and see if the problem becomes more noticeable in the steering wheel.

I have done that already i always feel it in steering whole truck does it floors seats ect starts at like 40 stops at 50 starts at 59 then anything past that truck vibes i am trying to find someone near me that road force balances cause i already had them balanced 2 times wasted $200 Could a transfer case cause vibes like this? reason i ask is because it was messed with before i got it and it leaks out a front seal.

Could be a lot of things unfortunately. I see you replaced hubs and u joints up front. What about ball joints? Probably not the cause but they do go bad in those gen trucks.
Is the drive shaft a one or 2 piece?. Output bearing on the transfer case could be bad causing that vibration. Why was the transfer case "messed with". That would be a huge red flag for me, they rarely go bad or need to be touched.

rear is 1 piece 6ft bed and was rebuilt by a place front is 2 piece i took it out. Transfer case leaks oil looks newer tag says 2016 someone clearly did shotty work rebuilding it cause it leaks out the front seal where front driveshaft comes out. But it works fine otherwise no noise so idk.. I mean i kinda wanna fix the leak any ways is the bearing/seal for front shaft hard to replace?

The only way to eliminate the transfer case is to examine everything in it. The leaking seal might be leaking because something inside is thrashing around. The most natural thing to suspect would be the driveshaft, but since you already removed it with no change, the transfer case certainly seems to need examinatiion.

Guess i am tearing it out then eh? :emotions122: I HOPE>> i find something.. i mean it really is the only thing left at this point.. i may try to borrow someones tires for the fk of it to see but just wanna get this thing fixed have had enough of it :D

Will report back with pics/what i find when i have it out have done plenty of motors but have never messed with a transfer case looks fairly simple from vids i have seen.

replaced rotors when we got it before we drove it because brakes where stuck where your rotors warped/grooved and did you feel pulse in petal? or just they just off balance?

Yeah I felt pulse in the petal. The rotors look like the original rotors from 05.

I had a similar problem w/ my 08 & it was a combo of bent wheels (barely visible & apparently from tire mount /dismounting rather than curb bashing)
and a tire issue . I was replacing wheels & tires anyway & as soon as I did... whala ! the vibration was gone at all speeds.
