New owner of a 2019 Rebel. Love this truck but question about 4x4.

The manual isn't clear on 4x4 engagement. Do you have to come to a complete stop before you get into 4x4 High or can it be done at lower speeds (while running).

Moreover, the locking diff. Can this be engaged on the fly or does it require a full stop as well?

Thanks!

Felix

I usually do it at lights, though sometime, like when it snowed, and I'm on the highway, if I'm under 55-60, I'd just engage it

Right then. Just wanted to ensure I don't rip on the front locking diff if I am going too fast.

Thanks!

I mean, Its all new to me at this point, but I'm going off what I found on the net.

As long as you're not cruising at 75-80 and suddenly engage it, you'll be fine

You dont have a locking diff in the front... but yea, recommend locking them at slower speeds for sure.
