I've been reading about panhard bars and how the increase the handling of our Rams. I've already upgraded the sway bar and end links. Would this be a worthwhile handling upgrade as well? I have no desire to lift, just want a better riding truck. Thoughts?

What sway bar did you go with? I’m looking at the hellwig rear sway bar, and I’m considering longer front sway bar end links from http://www.dodgeoffroad.comso I can remove the drop down brackets from the lift.

Also front and rear track bar.

Dodge off-road also has long arms that replace the radius arms and give more clearance. But those are gonna have to wait a while lol I’m broke after the lift kit and wheel (which I’m still waiting on!!!) and stereo

Not unless you're lowered or lifted past a certain degree where you need to center the axle.

The OEM bar is solid, black however so if you want a fancy powder-coat there's another benefit on aftermarket.

I don't think there's any deficiency in the OE panhard, the only time it makes sense to change it is if you lift the truck without relocating the bar ends and need to make it longer to re-center the axle.

Or you could take the OEM one off and have it powder coated, or just paint it yourself.

I installed a Spohn adjustable panhard bar on mine along with my Hellwig sway bar.
I did it because I wanted the adjustability and the poly bushings.
Next I will be doing all 4 rear control arms as well.
I honestly feel like the rearend is squirming around under a load and feel like the poly bushing and better quality bars will help if not stip this feeling and if not I guess it will look real purty..lol

question for the masses. ive got a 2018 power wagon with a rough country 4.5" lift. how do you ensure the rear axle is centered properly when installing an adjustable rear track bar? i plan on doing this, plus the front trac bar and drag link from dodgeramoffroad.com they also have rear control arms and long bars for replacing the radius arms too. ideally id like to get all their products installed. what im really looking for are rear coil springs so i can get rid of the 2" spacers that the factory coils are on. plus i dont like how soft they are. im looking at super springs coil springs which have over a 27xx# rating on them.

Take a level or something that is straight and put it on the tire vertically and measure from the level to the bedside or frame above the tire.
You could also take off the tire and wheel and use the level on the rotor and then measure to the frame I just felt going off the tires was good.
You just want the same number on each side.

You definitely want a pan hard bar if you change your ride height to center your rear axle. Pan hard bar alone you may not feel the difference much but pair that with some rear control arms and the rear will feel much more stable and planted. We offer Core 4x4 products as we feel they are built the best, perform as they should and look great.

Anyone interested contact me for pricing

Question: Can you get poly bushings for the stock Panhard and Rear Control Arms?

Thought about machining a billet to fill the axle side OR replacing the bushings with a higher durometer myself, but wheel hop went away after lowering the rear end.

I'd imagine they'd have to be cleaned up and pressed/mated in and by that time without the proper machining equipment you'd be above/beyond aftermarket pricing.

I saw an interesting review this afternoon on the spohn control arms this afternoon. He was happy with them at first, but then recycled the metal and went with Core control arms. He had problems with the noise they made because they flop back and forth. Tried to remedy it with a self made rubber spacer but it didn’t work out too well.
