Just installed a center console in my '17 this weekend and ran into a couple snags, probably because the console I got was from a '18.
But first thing is I have an extra connector coming from the console, not sure what it is for, I'm thinking heated rear seats, but the plugs underneath the rear seats have more then two wires, so I thought it'd be wired for it.

Also is there different radio bezels for the old style and new style consoles? I have a little gap at the front of my console between it and the radio bezel, like it doesn't contour correctly to the radio bezel.

Can’t help you with the plug, but are you sure you have the center bezel and the center console trim are snapped all the way? I had the same problem and one of the tabs was not snapped all the way on the bezel.

I checked some wiring diagrams and looks like that plug is for heated rear seats, I don't have the module under the front seats for it.
As for the gap I'll double check this weekend if everything is together right, but here it is, idk maybe it's normal. Just seems weird that it's tight on the outside and I can almost put my finger in the gap towards the inside. I know my 2011 that I put a console in didn't have a gap like this.

Thanks for all the info from this thread. I successfully swapped a bench seat to a center console and added rear a/c ducts in my 2013 quad. On that note, anybody want a jump seat? Lol

lol, I've got a jump seat and FT tops to get rid of somehow... plus two sets of running boards and a box of various conversion parts, lights, all kind of crap that's impractical to ship really. Going to try CL or FB I guess hope for a local sale

The guy took out the Cig Lighter due putting in a bench jump seat when he took out the console. I have a 2018 Express that of course has the jump seat console but it has the AUX/USB/Power only ports and has the deeper console. Does anyone know the part number to replace the shallow arm rest console to accommodate the AUX/USB/power only USB that my 2018 has? Thanks in advance.

does anyone have pictures of having to cut into their non-rear duct work to add rear air? Also I’m a little confused on the air duct part that I need to add. I have the front support member with the air duct on it. What part do I need to get it from the dash air ducts down the the front support member? Thanks, any help would be great!!

I wouldn't think you would cut into your box but would need the part that directs the air to the floor. I can't tell from your picture but there must be a piece that come off and you add another piece.

Wanted to post some pictures from me adding rear air. You have to cut into the box to remove the piece that will allow you to use part# 4. Other than manipulating that part in, it was pretty easy. Should have it done next weekend

The jumpseat was a must for me. Then I found out there was a jumpseat with underseat storage...I had to have it, much like some want the center console.

Do you have a part number for the jumpseat with the underseat storage? Mine doesn't have it and I really miss it. I had it in my 2002 but it is not in my 2017.

I just picked up a 2019 Classic Big Horn with the bench seat. I am leaning toward swapping the center seat for a console. I like the added storage of the center console.

Yes, you will have to change the center Bezel to one for a console truck!

So I just swapped in a center console into my 2019 Classic. Everything hooked up fine except now the radio will not recognize the USB ports when I plug in a thumb drive with music. I double checked all my connections and everything appears to be hooked up correctly. Has anyone else had an issue with this?

Try formatting the USB as FAT32...
