Brake issue

I had a bad brake line coming from the master cylinder. Replaced both of those lines. What is the piece those 2 lines go to coming from the master brake cylinder ? Brake fluid to coming from the top line of whatever that thing is . Think I need to replace it also. Have no idea what it's called .

Once the brake lines leave the master cylinder they travel to the Combination Valve. From the combination valve one line goes to the front brakes and the other goes to the ABS Module.

Where exactly is the fluid leak? Is the block leaking or is the fluid coming from one of the lines at the block?

If you have a leak at the combination valve it could be the valve itself or you could possibly have a bad or rusty flare that is causing the leak in which case you would need to replace the lines from the master to the combination valve.

It's coming from the top fluid line going into the combination valve . The one is new so I'm pretty sure it is not that . The nuts were really bad rusted and took me forevermore to get them off. No matter how tight I get the new line going into the combination valve fluid just sprays out. I'll get a new combination valve and see what happens . Thank you for your response .

Are you sure that the flares under each nut are in good shape? You mentioned that there is/was a bunch of rust which is common.

Is the fluid coming out of where the brake line passes through the hole in the flare nut? If it is then I think the culprit is the flare on the end of the metal brake line. Remove both lines from the combination valve and inspect the flare on each one. If they are pitted or if any metal is missing from the rust bug then I would get new hard lines.

Yae the brake lines have a double flair on them, with them being rusted did you partially twist the line and damaged the flair, If that happened you have to replace the line, how is the seat in the combination valve.

I think what you're referring to is your proportioning valve. it regulates pressure to the front and rear brakes

Double check you have the proper flare, if it doesn't fit the proportioning valve seat, you will get that major leak.
