I have been trying since early November to update the software with zero results. Radio locks up, GPS don't work, back up camera don't work. The online directions left a lot to be desired. Park truck, lock, take keys at least 75 feet away. Didn't work, did update with tech support on phone, didn't work.

Took truck to dealer, spent two hours waiting, didn't work. Came back week later after they updated their update, spent two hours waiting, still didn't work. Dealer says updated thumb drive will arrive in mail. Week later I am still waiting.

I will never spend any money updating the GPS or the UConnect subscription. At its best the GPS was marginal and the cost of upgrades will buy a very good Garmin GPS with free updates. The UConnect features are not cost effective.

I really like the Eco Diesel for power and mileage but this software issue really cools the fire.

Now that is a bummer ! From some issues I have heard people have had with the GPS and Updates I'll stick with my GARMIN'S .. Using them for years ! I also have the 5.0 and that is good enough for me :)

I've never updated any of my systems on any Dodge I've had since 2008. The fees involved are a joke for what you get. The lack of an update has bit me in the butt a few time in areas in Washington that have been changed (I-5 Tacoma for example) for the hassle is worth keeping the $150+ in my pocket every year.

I had trouble with mine uploading the software I unhooked the battery cables for a couple of hours and everything is fine now. The radio was locked and it kept asking to schedule an update which I tried several times and after I unhooked the cables the software updated and everything works as it should.
