Right Turn Signal out per EVIC. New Bulbs don't fix.

I have a 2016 RAM 1500 that is having some weird electrical issues. The EVIC keeps telling me that my right real turn signal is out. I have no tail light, no turn signal, and no brake light. However, when I unlock the truck with the key fob, the light flashes so I know the bulb is good. When I lock the truck with the key fob the light won't flash. I have checked the fuse and it is good. I know that the right rear lighting is tied into the trailer harness so I am thinking that either I have an issue with my trailer lighting (I haven't towed my travel trailer for a few months now) or I have something wrong with the computer and/or relays under the fuse box.

Is there an easy way to fix this or do I need to just bite the bullet and take it to a dealer?

Thanks

The trailer lighting have separate fuses and relays. The taillight circuits drive the relays for trailer lights internal to the power distribution module.
Check your third brake light, that can cause the taillight out error message. It's possible the third brake light is shorted causing the problem.

If by third brake light you mean the one one the back of the cab, I have done that and it is working just fine. And now to add to the confusion, the tail light comes on at night but the brake light, turn signal, and hazard lights won't work.

Option I am gonna try next is to hook up the camper and see if the trailer connection gives me turn signals, brake lights, etc. Looking more and more like I have a gremlin in the wiring somewhere.

Do you have any LED lights in the back that are not stock? Also, check your hazard flasher to make sure it’s fully in and has no corroded connections. It could cause an issue. Try using your hazards and see if they work normally. If they do, the turn signals and brake lights should.
