Guys. The fault sense is for the lights right? Not for the blind spot sensor?
Correct. I honestly think you can get away with not using them, though. I just ran mine “just in case” so they were there if I needed to enable the rear light diagnostics, which I haven’t had to.

Exactly...

Putting everything in place under the dash, next open driver door, connect the Led and programming. The Led dont need resistor right?

On the white connector from the mirror that is plugged into the door module, pin 3 is positive and pin 2 is negative. k4Zkmqx.jpg

You haven’t missed anything. You’ve just re-confirmed what we all suspected (we know this as fact, now)- that the 1500s aren’t capable of the blind spot feature right now. It’s being worked on as we speak.

What can be next? Updates to the bcm? Change the bcm? Change the doors modules? Men I dream with this project... Lights pass to secondary...

Its something to do with the message(s) that the sensors send. There are a few things that might be able to be done but we have not been able to proof of concept anything just yet.

Hopefully we'll know more later this week/early next week. Could be swapping the 2500 sensors for sensors from a current 1500 (DT platform), or somehow making the 2500 sensors act like they belong on a 4th gen 1500 (DS platform).

Ok. You mean the 1500 2019 sensors? Those are fisical different.

Do you recomend that I put back this settings?

The errors should go away if you just turn off the blind spot detection through the head unit. You can leave the BCM settings in place, IIRC.

Are the 2019 sensors physically different? Someone tried a set and while the BCM didnt have an issue with them, they were false detecting all over the place, so maybe they really are different? Have you seen them compared to the 2500 sensors? Because in pictures they look exactly the same.
