After 2 months owning my Ram Sport there are only a few things I would say I'm not big on.

I'm not a fan of the rotary shift knob. It does not feel very intuitive to use especially when you have to forward and reverse a few times with a trailer backing into a tight spot. I do like that it does not use up console space but I just can't get used to the knob. I have to completely stop the truck and look at the knob before making a change. I hit park a few times rolling slow when I was going for reverse. I also had it in reverse when I thought it was in park and it auto parked which was cool but sort of spooked me. Never did that with a dedicated shifter handle before.

Big Engineering - design flaw - The back up camera is ridiculously bright at night literally blinding you when trying to back up a trailer at night. I cannot believe they let this one slip through in a truck. It makes it near impossible to see in your mirrors at night due to the ridiculous display. Also when you shut off the truck the display goes so bright and white your night vision is shot when exiting the truck in the dark. If anyone has a solution for this one I'd love to hear it.

I upgraded the headlights, fog lights, license plate and reverse to LED's and I'm very impressed with the trucks forward and reveres lighting. The original halogens were not very good. Running in snow with the low beams and lower fogs I have excellent visibility out front and to the side. My highs are so bright they cause the auto high beam to shut off from the reflection back from road signs. Disable that feature and they are like landing lights. Not good for heavy snow but I'd never run high beams anyway in low visibility conditions due to light pattern reflecting off of the falling snow basically creating a white wall.

The reverse LED lights are nothing short of amazing.

Options I wished the sport had:
I would have liked the option for rear seat passenger lights they can turn on themselves. Like a pair of buttons on the light housing so then I do not have to hit the switch up front every time someone in the back has to look for something. I'm going to see what options I have to add this.

Correction, I crawled into the back seat to look at the overhead light to see what options I may be able to come up with and low and behold it is able to be turned on by rear passengers by pushing on edge of lens instead of dedicated buttons.

Soft glow coloured (red or blue) floor and accent lighting that you can leave on and dim would be a nice option on the truck. I've became used to having that with my SUV's and miss it. The Ram is pretty dark inside at night. The higher trims apparently have it so a mod may be in order :)

I wish the seat heater got as warm (hot) as my old Chevy Duramax. Even my wife's Equinox seats get really warm compared to my 16 RAM. Also the Chevy seat heater could be "back only" which I loved yr round after playing golf. The RAM seat heater is all or nothing. But still, up here in Ak it's a great option to have. Just wish it got warmer.

One of the first things I did to my new to me '15 1500 was replace the RA1 head unit with an RA2 head unit. I felt like an idiot because I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to turn the radio off before I realized that you can't. WTF!?
HA HAAAAAAAAAAA
I don't know who came up with that idea! It's dumb. lol

I hate my Ram cause it sends me a payment each month....and that silly tiny oil filter and location over the steering....and...and...who am I kidding? I'm in love for the first time....and I know it's going to last.

The climate control. It's either to hot, or to cold. Adjustment is horrible.

I don’t like that my truck can’t go through a car wash without the sheet metal being manipulated by the dryer. I mean, come on! My roof has a dent and my hood looks like a flag waving in the wind. Pretty sad.

The sound the roof makes when it bounces back is quite terrifying lol.

I don't get that on my Laramie. Must be better insulation.

My last regular cabs roof did that in the drying area as well (sound wise), but my crew cab with sunroof doesn't make a sound.

I've found as the metal has gotten thinner the blowers have gotten stronger.

The blowers that follow tend to be more gentle in my experience.

The fixed ones on the other hand have blown water through my sunroof by deforming the metal.

I guess you got some pretty powerful dryer motors up there and ours out here are fairly weak then because every automated car wash I’ve gone through, only the wipers lift off the windshield but, I’ve never seen the sheet metal buckle and get all wavy.

Stay away from the new ones...the blowers are way too strong in my opinion.

Only complaint I have is the short bed. Had to rush to replace my totaled truck. Otherwise I would have held out and tried to find a longer bed crew cab. Other than that I love my new rig.
