Kind of looking at an 05 SRT 10 regular cab shortbox with 21,000 km's (roughly13,000 miles),what are the obvious things to check for on one of the 6 speed trucks? Anything a guy should be looking at real close besides clutch?

Misfires, the coil packs are under the intake manifold and sometimes the wires can get pinched or damaged from heat (those engines put out some heat, part of the reason it comes with a factory oil temp gauge). Ask if the front calipers have been replaced/rebuilt. The 05-06 fixed calipers while AWESOME, have a known prone to sticking piston problem. Original caliper pistons are composite, few companies offer metal ones with their rebuild kits to help remedy this. Otherwise just general overall condition. By 2005 they seemed to have fixed the cracking dash issue. The Dana 60 is near indestructible. Only 13,000 miles you aren't anywhere near worrying about redoing the front suspension. Good luck lol. Post pics.
Some good info/stores in case you do buy it:

I remember back about 08-10 there was a ****load of them available because of the insane gas prices. Prepare yourself for single digit mileage lol.

You missed out on 440's in truck sized cars (my old 4600lb 74 Monaco, my truck weighs 5300lbs and they both have the same length and width)

LOL 440 powered cars were definitely more common then 440 powered trucks in my area, there were a lot of New Yorkers with 440's.
Well I made an offer on the truck, see if they take it.I kind of want one,but I won't budge off my offer,as i'm not hung up on the trucks, plus my 4th Gen eats SRT 10's for breakfast, lol
