Weather Alerts on Nav display

‘19 Rebel ...So I’m getting weather alerts on my Nav display but they are all from the area where the dealer is located that I bought my Rebel from, which is halfway across the state. I’ve set up my home address in the settings but that didn’t change anything. Where can I find the setting to change where these alerts come from?

If you have XM Guardian you only have to call them and they will correct your location. My XM Guardian traffic/weather came with my truck for 5 years free.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but is disabling the whole travel link what’s necessary to turn off those annoying weather alerts?

Ok but when you disable the travel link, that disables the movie times, gas prices and all that stuff? Not that I use any of that, I’m just curious.

Where do you find that area of alpha obd to change that setting?

So is this one of those settings that may take awhile to change? I selected that option and selected the value to NO but after waiting about five minutes and cycling the ignition on and off, the TravelLink is still there and usable.
