Good morning, I'm new to the Forum. I inherited my Dads 1500 RAM 3 years ago after he passed away. My Dad and I talked about upgrading to the dual exhaust and bumper on his Standard cab (We never got around to it before he passed).

Not making this into a sad story, but a happy one... I decided to move forward with this idea and completed the project last week.

I not only did the exhaust but also re did the front as well. I have added the rebel wills and side step to my Dad's truck as well.

I hope you enjoy the picture transformation. If you all like what you see I can post more as well.

Again thank you for taking time in your day to share this build with me (My 2006 Mustang is in a few of these as well).

Thank you,

Tony

Thanks for the kind words guys, he actually ordered the truck new as a retirement present to himself in 2011.

I have all the original papers from when my dad actually ordered it.

I was shocked when I saw he had 3.92's!

Score with the 392's.
Nice truck. Love reg cabs.
The stock photo is pretty much my work truck, so I can relate.
Maybe I'm cracking up, but did you do chrome in front and painted in rear?

A decent custom e-mail or dyno tune will make a noticeable difference in that little 4.7.My old 2013 truck was a 4.7 ,after all was said and done with all the available bolt-ons for the later 4.7 and with a custom dyno tune it made just under 250 rwhp on a Mustang dyno, and would give stock Hemi's a run for their money and pass them wide open, lol.Nice little truck, like what you've done with it.Link to my old thread on the truck if you're interested.

yup I did! I like the painted look, but I hate rock chips more! I love the fact you noticed this detail with the bumper. This was the biggest debate in my head over this build this far.

My though was this if I went chrome with the bumper it would still flow with the chrome side steps and meet up in the back with the dual tips and the chrome and black RAM tail gate emblem. Knowing I was going to be going with the chrome bumper was also what delayed me from removing the side door lettering at first.

But hey, I'm open to ideas, thoughts, criticism, likes dislikes let me know! :)

Thanks for the information "Wild one" I did ordered a pedal commander to get the throttle to respond more and man to your point just doing that turned the truck into a launching beast! I have tunes for my Mustang and I was shocked when I saw how much Torque the truck had, that is when I found and went through the papers and saw 3.92. I was like thanks dad! I will check out that link for sure on your 4.7L

My 13 was a virtual clone to your Dad's 11,i colour matched the bumpers though, and added the Sport/Performance hood to it. The little truck was quicker wide open then I thought it'd be,with the speed limiter opened up and the dyno tune,it would put up 215 km's or roughly 135mph,for a little 4.7 it was kind of fun, lol. Mine only had 3.55's,3.92's were it's next mod,but I ended up trading it off before that happened.3.92's with the 4.7 would be a great combo.

There's a link to a couple pic's of it in this thread ,you'll have to join High Performance Rams on facebook to probably see them though.
