Do you guys have the TPMS sensors for a 2014 1500 Laramie? I tired to put the part number in but it can’t find it. Unless it’s changed.

Hi Stefan,

Yes as per the service info it will re-learn.

From the service info:

"Once the vehicle has remained stationary for more than 20 minutes, drive vehicle for a minimum of 10 minutes while maintaining a continuous speed above 15 mph (24 km/h). During this time, the system will learn the new sensor ID. This is part of the TPM Diagnostic Verification Test."

I am trying to research about the TPMS sensors.
I am getting ready to buy new wheels (already got the new tires), I need to find a new set of TPMS sensors.
Is there a benefit to metal stems vs. rubber stems?
Is there a type of sensor any better quality from others?
I don't think the type wheels make any difference, or do they?
Do I need a sensor for the spare? I do want to incorporate the spare in tire rotations. Does the system register for the spare?

Sorry for so many questions, just trying to do all my research.

I have a 2008 Ram 2500 SLT 5.7L, 4x4

Thanks,
Rich

Hi Rich,

Stick with rubber replacement stems as there is less of a chance of metal interaction and corrosion. We can only recommend Mopar OE sensors, For a quote send me your VIN. No most wheels factory and aftermarket have a standardized opening/seat to accept OE and replacement valves. The spare sensor would remain inactive to the best of my knowledge but I would have to research this a bit further.
