I clean up my wheel well liners on a regular basis, then put Meguirs vinyl & rubber protectant. It was much easier to do on my 95 4x4 with more access room, plus the liners were heavier and didn't feel as flimsy as the 4th gens. My wife says similar things as Mrs. Graygoose...
and mud and grime doesnt stick as well, kinda like ceramic, only for wheel liners LOL

Friday night, was about 70* and overcast, to be followed up by sunny 81* Sunday, and a pretty decent week in the sun...so, brought out Bluetooth speaker and cleaned the truck. I have a roll dolly seat, and use it to clean the wheels, etc...and I kept wheeling around...wife said I went overboard?
Is that possible?

Definitely not overboard, that's why your truck always looks good. It's not a matter of getting it clean and detailed as much as it's keeping it that way. Women (most) just don't get it, my wife doesn't. Looks great!

A tip for you. Get some lubricating spray with teflon and spray down all your wheel wells and other components. It will make the process 10x easier next time. I do this every detail (monthly) and most times I hit it with the pressure washer and that's it. Plus it will keep rust away.

Nice job! I do the exact same thing every time i wash my truck, i feel like dirty wheel wells stick out like a sore thumb on a clean truck! Wife used to always give me crap about going overboard till she got a vehicle she cared about. Now she doesnt say a thing unless i miss a spot on her car!

I suffer from R.O.C.D too.(Ram obsessive compulsive disorder). And I can't do a simple wash job,I gotta detail it most of the day.
