Synthetic Oil

Dumped the factory oil today in hope that redline will help my ticking.

So. Question. I heard some knocking when firing this thing up. Only 2 seconds until oil pressure registered, but still.

On my old 2012 ram 1500 there was a feature where if you held the gas pedal flat to the floor, the truck would cut fuel, and simply crank. This was great to build oil pressure after an oil change.

Anyone know if the 2020 power wagon does this? I dont want to just floor the gas and rev it to the moon after an oil change lol

I used a contact to get Redline oil from Sweden's general importer for an ok price, they only had 13 quarts. So you can say I drained Sweden of 5w30 Redline oil But safe for a year or so

So I gotta change the oil in my boat which has a 4.5l V6 Mercury, it calls for 25w40 which is odd I thought and am not seeing Redline with this weight.
What do you guys think? 20w50 RL or go with the Mercury synthetic blend oil thats 25w40 ?

If not Redline which other full synthetic oil do you think would be a good choice.

I think 20w40 would be a closer replacement, pretty common for those. In fact, I never heard of 25w40, but I've heard a lot of outboards and motor cycles and other vehicles using 20w40.

Did they just stop making TP, lol? Months into this deal and today was the first time I saw any name brand TP on the shelf, and they only had 2. Stores are still hit and miss bare, frozen pizza is almost out, lol. Like wtf...

Yeah I looked for 20w40 oil but all I could find is motorcycle oils , kinda in a spot with the recommended oil weight and why I came to you guys..lol

Its funny when I googled that weight all that came up was the Mercury quicksilver oil.

Wonder why its a synthetic blend ? The Mercruy oil is as well.

I definitely hear it. 200 miles is still pretty early on the change, I would give it at least another 500 miles and take another video.

Mine sounded like this after 500 miles on Amsoil and took aver 1500 miles on RL 5w30 to be quiet again. I was freaking out after 500 miles back on RL because it still sounded pretty much like this...

Sound the same after it has ran for about 5 mins ?
How about after temps are normal vrs cold start?
