Not really under $100 but I paid $130 shipping included for a Spectre CAI on sale. It's 50 state legal and since my Ram has the Pentastar, we don't have much choice for CAI. It's only K&N, Mopar (both running north of $300) and Spectre. So far so good.1e456ffd13811c809a9438a39f21fd12.jpg

If it's any consolation your Spectre looks identical too if not better than the K&N for the 3.6L...

WOW OKAY, I got this one BOOKMARKED for future funds.... THNX

Q:? Do you REALLY NEED to disconnect the battery just to do this install... unplugging the sensor is no different than when you move it to change a filter!!???

No, you don't need to unplug the battery.

I didn't disconnect my battery. A manual was included and it didn't mention anything about the battery so it stayed in place

Yeah, I heard that reference about looking like the K&N. It actually performs really well. I may have gotten about 5hp or so and sounds good from 2K RPMS.

What a stupid location for that. Not sure why for one year I think they did that. That’s looks so much better. Good call on painting it

That's good but I got the idea from the PDF instruction manual that was at the site I downloaded it and the first thing it said to do was disconnect your negative

I'm sure their lawyers made them say that...

Just got my AJT Design clear shifter and red aluminum knob trim. Loving the look and that shifter is massive and solid. Ordered a red aluminum to see if its too much (yeah, right) red, but really liking the AJT with the red set screws.
Red shifter due tomorrow, 52c429cbbeea2dca7cd2d5d1f892fd4e.jpg

I don't recall doing so, but I may be wrong. It's been about 3 months since I installed my CAI and followed step by step. If the manual says so, then I did.

Added this today, Was just under $100 can shipped.
Can honestly say it does make a difference in Throttle response, fuel economy and power...no way, just makes the loud pedal respond a hell of a lot faster (on max setting CRAZY FAST...like roast the tires with ease).
I took a chance on this, only time will tell if it causes any issueseittar.jpg

I have a similar unit from a different company. Mine takes the lag out of the pedal and adds a pedal lock-out.
