Mopar Makes a spray in bed liner cleaner\conditioner. I recently used this on a bed from 2014, it had some paint stains in it . Sprayed it on and hit it with a stiff brush...It looked brand new when done

Part number 82212338. Cheapest price was from my dealer $25...worth a try at that price...I’d try this before you start trying to paint it

Hmmm I will try this. I’m placing an order on a Canadian Mopar part site to do the cabin air filter mod. I’ll throw this conditioner in the cart as well. Thanks!

Now we know why your name is AngryBish......if that happened to me that's what I would be lol

:sorrysign:

Seriously though, I think I would just throw a bed mat back there and add a bedcover and forget it.

It’s a spray in. I don’t think insurance would help, my fault and my deductible is probably more than getting the liner sprayed at line-x. Then again, maybe not.

Just get a couple cans of a high quality spray in bed liner. It’ll freshen up what’s deteriorated from attempting to clean It up and cover up the spill.

Goo-Gone (from HD) makes a version that says "removes dried latex paint" - maybe give that a try?
Gotta just find the right solvent (and make sure it won't pull bedliner with it).

Year's ago my dad gave a ride to my then fiance (and now wife). BRAND new (like 9 days old) Caddy. She had to go to laundromat. Got there and opened trunk to find bleach had spilled all over trunk.
They put a gallon of water on it and then toweled it up. It left a HUGE bleached out stain. He was a big car guy, but he just shrugged it off "No big deal...it's just a car". Every time I went into the trunk, I saw it and felt bad - he said, "It gives the car character"

Some of you might have seen my recent post of my first ever brand new warlock. Well.... owned it two weeks and wife put some paint cans in the box. One tipped over and leaked interior blue paint all over. I sprayed it off right away but it seems to have seeped into all the grit of the bed liner. I think it was latex paint, but I’m not really sure.

I know it’s a truck, and isn’t that bad. BUT it’s my first new truck and 2 weeks old lol.....

I have tried:
Pressure washing
Drill brush with soap and water
Paint thinner sprayed on with a bottle and scrubbed with a brush.

I am reluctant to ruin my bed liner with chemicals.

If it makes you feel any better... the first time I drove my Warlock home and turned in to park in my garage (first time ever pulling a vehicle its size in) with wife watching to help, I heard crunch. Drivers rear fender flare destroyed:(:p.

Totally agree that you should try a latex paint remover. Check a big box store or Amazon. Petroleum solvents will not remove latex paint.

Some people use there trucks to haul stuff like they where made for. But still like them to look good.
Some on here I guess don't seem to care what they look like.
I would try some of the eco friendly paint stripper in a small spot.
I am more into the Cica 1850 real stuff, if the mild stuff don't work, try a small dab of that.
I would think painting would not be very durable on that stuff, The rubber mat is a good idea, a lot better on the knees.the thing ones are not great, I had one one yrs ago in a S10 that was about 1/2 in thick, heavy as hell, never moved. Bought it at a auction, so no idea of what it may have cost new.

P.S. I just se the post on Goof off, never thought of that, but Cica 1850 will tale off both types of paint, use lots of it , have to use with care, last resort

Explains why the gas I tried didn’t take it off. Carburetor cleaner seems to work. But I was very hesitant to take the liner off with it.

Will try goo gone. I’ve looked at in on the shelf before.

Why I suggest a small dab, Q tip size, I would try it up on the top side of the stack pocket where you can't really see it, let sit for a bit and see what happens . if the bed liner gets soft, than look at something else.

Latex is water based, someone posted hotwater, do that, get a local car wash and crawl in the bed and get close...should come off . Worse case, I got this bedrug , works for lined beds and not for like $210.

You might try some WD-40 or other penetrating fluid and see if it will get under the paint and let you scrape it off.

If not, this is what I've done for years with my paint brushes after jobs.

When I'm done with any paint job, there is always latex paint in the bristles near the ferrule.

I use Lacquer thinner and a stiff brush and some elbow grease to get it out.

If it's heavy I will hang the brush in a container of thinner and let it work overnight.

Due to the rapid evaporation of Lacquer thinner, the best you can do with the truck is soaking a small rag and letting it sit ahead of your progress may help.

The brushes I use are like tooth brushes and can be found at Harbor Freight:

Here is one listing: Detail Brushes

They also make wider ones: Wide Cleaning Brush Set

Start with the nylon.

I use the stainless one too.

The brass one may leave marks, at least it does in the sink.

Good luck!

Goo-Gone Latex Paint Wipes from HD or Lowes will take dried Latex paint off of just about anything.

They may be a little thin for the spray on bedliner, get more than one can for a large area, but I have used them on mine for small spots without issue and the paint comes right off.

When I was shopping for my truck a couple years ago there was a used 2017 with 8,000 miles on it, equipped just like the new 2018 one I ended up buying, for a pretty good price, but it had yellow paint spilled in the bed that had stained the liner. That's actually a main reason I didn't buy it, but I was also suspicious of why a truck that new had been traded back in (lemon?). I have no solutions to offer, but hope you get it sorted out.
