Saw this on one of the FB groups i'm a part of.
For some reason AEV now states on their product page that their Procal Snap for 2019/2020 HD's is not compatible with Powerwagons.
This warning was definitely not on their website when I purchased mine. I ordered mine and installed mine and all the functions worked as advertised (to my knowledge). I adjusted TPMS threshold and tire size.

After hearing the news I dm'd AEV on IG but have yet to receive a response.
Any idea why they're stating that the Snap is not compatible with our PW's?

No idea why it wouldn’t be compatible with a PW. Maybe there’s variable TPMS programming on the PW?

Interesting, I have one in the garage waiting to be installed. I guess I will try to contact them first. Thank you for the heads up!

I used the Snap on my 2020 Wagon and it seems fine so far. I have only adjusted TPMS thus far. I hope it doesnt have issues with other functions since it seems to work great and is quick and affordable.

I’m curious about this as well. I’ve been wanting to order one But they’ve been out of stock and now this doesn’t work with PW’s statement. Which is odd because it seems like several PW owners have used it successfully.

Is this only for 2019s? I have the procal installed on my 2018 to correct the tire size change.

Yeah, this is the for the new Procal Snap they released about a month ago for the 2019/2020's.

It seems to be working just fine on my '19. I adjusted TPMS, set to 35 and adjusted for my 35x12.5x17 Falken's which actually measured out at 33.7" on my truck.

Yeah, the only issue I saw was one guy in one of the FB PW groups that had previously used a Hypertech programmer to adjust his TPMS which them disabled the SNAP's ability to adjust TPMS.

Just spoke to AEV tech support. They are saying they think it is only a compatibility issue with certain combinations of options within the truck. Mainly the head unit. Some are working, some are not. They told me either it will take and work fine or it will not, there should not be any concern of any erroneous issues.

Interesting. Anyone used it successfully on a 2019+ with level 1 equipment group and 12” screen? Lol.

Thank you for the heads up, I’m not taking the chance! They will get it fixed they say.

I have one of these but haven't gotten around to installing it. Maybe I'll call them first and see if they think it will work with my options.

Here's the reply I got from AEV:

We found certain power wagons would have issues while programming with the Snap, if yours appears to be working then you're one of the lucky ones. If everything worked without issue then I wouldn't worry about it but I would hang on to your receipt just in case.

Since you already have it I'd just go ahead and install it. It doesn't take a long time to install and you'll know immediately if it is compatible or not. If it doesn't work just contact them and from what I understand they'll just give you a full refund.

@Bahn112 thanks for posting the response from AEV. I guess I’ll wait until they work out the bugs before buying one. Maybe someone else will come to market with another programmer that is PW compatible in the mean time. I hate that TPMS light lol.

I used Alfaobd to change my tire size and adjust the TPMS threshold. It worked great and did not have any issues.

What would be awesome is if they added a couple of features while they were at it such as:
1) Disable MDS
2) Auto Power Mirror fold/unfold when locking/unlocking the truck

That being said i'm really curious why this isn't affecting non-PW 2500/3500's.

Yeah I’ve considered that and may still go that route. The super easy plug and play solution at a reasonable price from AEV without having to do the security bypass and get a PIN from the dealer is attractive.
