I need a local electrical mechanic to help me wire up the new seats I got. All info below.

My Truck:
- 2012 Ram 1500 Regular Cab
- Cloth Bench Seats

Donor Truck
- 2015 Ram 1500 Sport
- Black Leather Bucket Seats w/Heat

Location: Newtown, Pa 18940
Compensation: Negotiations

So I can install the seats myself, I just don’t know how to wire up what needs to be wired up. Here is what needs to be wired, as the 12’ plugs on the truck-side do not match up and plug in to the plugs on the 15’ leather seats.

- Power Movement for Driver + Passenger
- SRS air bags for D+P
- Seat Belt sensors

Anyone want to help? Just need you to tap into the proper wires on my trucks harness and connect them to the proper colored wires on the new seats. Seats will be unbolted and all wiring will be easily accessible.

Call or text me at 267-461-8135.

A forum member and vendor (@Mpgrimm2 )makes custom electrical harnesses for our vehicles. He may be able to make something you can buy for a factory-like install.

For what its worth, to get seat movement all you have to do is wire up the 12 gauge red wire to a constant 12v and 12 gauge black wire for ground. I wired up some ‘17 seats in my ‘06 and thats all I had to do for the movement

As for airbags and the other stuff, I’m not sure

Yes I know how to get power going. I am just not sure on the air bags and the seat belt, although I am pretty sure I can transfer my seatbelt over, although I won’t be sure until I get into everything. I have until Tuesday now, as my radio bezel shipping got delayed so I have a few more days to find what I need.
