Hi Guys,

Just popped in to report that this worked perfectly for my 2014 RAM 2500, to change tire size (I did not verify with GPS yet), and TPMS setpoints. At first i thought I bricked the truck when the speedometer became unresponsive, and the ABS light was on. I was using a procedure found on YouTube that did not describe the module reset procedure. The instructions here worked perfectly.

Thanks!

I changed my tire size using the first step and had no error codes pop up and speedo is dead on for accuracy. Are all the other steps mandatory or only if you have errors?

That is strange? Every time I have changed mine I have had to go through the entire process. I always get errors and have to complete the process to clear them.

Maybe those steps are only necessary for the 2500/3500 then

Hey guys, just attempted to change my tire size on my truck. Everything went through but I’m still having the ParkSense Off, and Service electronic brake messages. Is there something else I should do? Also the speedometer is just the 3 lines

I just went in to change my tire size on a 2017 Ram 2500. When I get to where you go into the ABS I do not see
ABS Ate/Continental.
I do see
ABS Bosch/Continental/Teves/TRW PowerNet
MY2013-18 Powernet
Is this what I should choose? It does cover the year of my truck.

I have the same thing in my 2015 1500. After adjusting the tire size and going through the ABS steps I was left with a non working speedometer and no power steering. Going through the static ecu initialization, clearing rolls information and clearing the stored codes didn’t work for me, i must have tried a million times. I had to reset the ABS ecu. Removed the error codes and got my Speedometer working again and it saved the tire size and was able to change my axel ratio.

I've successfully changed the tire size using Alfaobd on: 2010 Dodge Ram 2500, 2015 Ram 1500, and 2016 Ram 2500

Has it been confirmed that these steps will work on a 2019 Ram 2500?

Some say you have to do the Vehic Dynamic Tire Value.

Also, do they have My20 on the OBD yet?

I'm having major issues.
My truck is currently not functioning.

I've done this multiple times previously with no issues.

Alfa OBD changed the App,

I no longer have a ABS/Ate option.
I used the ABS Bosch/Continental/Teves/TRW PowerNet

However I still have dash full or warning lights and error messages.

I've never had this before.

Please help!!!

Where is this "module reset" procedure?

Try connecting to abs/ecu/bcm and clear any codes in each. If they come back, I believe there is still the static ecu and clearing rolls that needs to be done. I haven't used alfaobd in months so I'm not sure what changed in the abs section

I got a question on the steps, when doing every step, after it, do you turn truck off and let sit for 5 minutes before advancing or do you not need to for tire setup?
Thanks

My version of AlfaOBD won't even connect to the ABS Bosch/Continental/Teves/TRW PowerNet. None of the selections work. How do I connect to a 2017 Ram 2500 ABS?

Re my post above. Does anyone have an idea how I can get the correct module into the AlfaOBD selection menu? Can't seem to find a way to report it.

You don't have to for tire size changes. It's more for if you are changing multiple different settings that can cause the truck to freak out
