Corneileous , at the bottom of my driver and passenger seats there are black clips that hold the covers on the frame
That’s what’s coming off
It’s caused by a really big person sitting on the edge of the seat and then sliding in and across and it unhooked the clips

Mine unsnap repeatedly, i'm 175 lbs. and sit in the middle of the seat. The passenger seat does it as well with nobody sitting in it. I believe its just poor design.

My two big complaints so far: 1) No front-facing camera, 2) Can't find the grade/angle indicator in the menus. I believe it doesn't have one. Wo the heck makes an offroad vehicle without that basic indicator.

Other than that, I love my 2020 Rebel. I bought it less than a week ago.20200923_174426.jpg

I believe the term is off-road ready… Just because the rebel comes with thick off-road tires, no chrome and a transfer case that’ll allow your wheels to actually take you somewhere without getting stuck doesn’t automatically mean that this truck straight out of the box is such an off-road beast that could actually make use out of an inclinometer.

You want one bad enough, go get one that’ll probably actually work.

But what’s the front camera you’re talking about?

I have a 2017 Rebel, my problem is the off road suspension setting. The truck lowers at 25 mph which is a problem for my kind of off road use “ mud snow etc” this does not make sense, is there anyway to delete this feature from the air ride???

An idea when off roading is when it’s on the top setting, pull the fuse for the air suspension and it’ll stay there past 25 mph. Will probably be a rough ride but you’ll have you’re height you wish for lol

You also lose your auto-leveling capability and all your other suspension modes.

But why are you concerned with your air system not staying at offroad height when you get over a certain speed? It’s supposed to do that because you’re basically using your bags for lift rather than actual suspension parts that lift the vehicle properly.

If you want to lift your truck, BDS supposedly has a nice 4 or 6 inch lift kit made for trucks with air suspension. Not sure about the Rebels but even if they weren’t for the rebels, there’s several companies that make adjustable links for trucks with air ride that won’t disable all the other modes.

2019 Rebel here, only complaint is that I don't get to take it out to play enough.

My only complaint is that Rebel's don't come standard with anti spin axel (posi). I have the e-locker but for regular around town driving I would like have power to both rear wheels. I bought my truck used, and anti spin was on my must have option list, but I thought the e-locker would be a good substitute.

Sorry but the Rebel is an off-road ready pickup which is why that factory limited slip isn’t an option. If you bought your Rebel for off-road adventures, you wouldn’t want that anti-spinal diff.

Why would a limited slip not be helpful offroad? I've always had them before and it seems it was always be better to have power to both rear wheels when needed.
Does a e-locker preclude having limited slip?

That’s what the locker’s for that it comes with. But sorry for not bein’ clearer in my first post to ya but when I said you wouldn’t want that anti-spin differential, I didn’t mean it like you wouldn’t want it to off-road with, I meant you wouldn’t want that... limited slip because it’s not made for off-roading. That limited slip that comes in our half-ton pickups is only made to get you out of your icy or snow-covered driveway; it’s not made for anything else… Well, maybe a muddy road, but that’s about it. Trust me, I know, because I’ve been down this road, twice. The factory limited slip in. 98 1500 ram I once had, and a 2004 Dodge Dakota, I had to find out the hard way that they weren’t made for off-roading because both of them ended up in pieces.

Just posted in another thread. I really am happy with my 2021, I bought it with 14 miles on it and drove cross country. I am now sitting at a little over 3k miles. 3 things I wish I had/could do:
- retract mirrors when I park (due to where I work I need to remember to manually push the retract button)
- birds-eye camera
- camera rear view mirror

I called Dodge today and they are looking if they can add 2 & 3 but I am not hopeful. I would even do it myself but not sure if all the wiring is there or not.

Cant you just go into the settings and make it so they automatically fold in when the truck is shut off?

Ram doesn’t have that feature. That’s why they have a button on the driver door panel where the lock buttons, window up/down buttons and mirror adjustment buttons are.
