How much of a front and rear lift does the Icon kit give over stock (non-ORG)?
Icon says 0-1.5" on their site, though other vendors call it 0.75-2.5". Presumably, Icon knows better than the retailers, but it's good to verify.
I'm looking for a small lift of my 2019 Laramie, enough to gain some ground clearance and fit 33-35" tires without rubbing and little trimming. Icon recommends 33x11.5" tires with a zero offset. However, I've seen reports of people running 33x12.5" on stock suspension, aftermarket rims. So I would expect a 296/70R18 (34.3x11.6) to fit. Is that feasible?
Over the truck bed, I've got a RetraxPro XR (125 lbs), Yakima Overhaul HD rack (60 lbs), and rooftop tent (160 lbs), totally about 450 pounds. Depending on the trip, I may have up to 200 pounds of additional gear in the bed, plus say 500 pounds between three people in the cab. So, 650 pounds in/over the bed, about 1,200 lbs total.
I point this out to say I don't want to go completely level in the front, because of the additional load in the back. So if I could get a 1.5" lift in the rear, and at least that much (up to 2.5") in the front, that might be ideal.
