I am over this mess as well. I love snow, but the roll blackouts have made it unbelievably difficult. We basically have maybe 12 hours of power a day. Yesterday it was a total of 8. 1 hr on 2-3 off.

That looks like the result we get in southern Ontario from the salt brine the works dept sprays on the highways. It gets into every nook & cranny.
Definatly. This is from today in Ontario and most of the salt came off with the snow we just got. The truck was twice as bad as this. 9dddf154c394826e66cdbf10a4874522.jpg

Last Friday about 50 miles inland from the beach, some people go to this town called Julian whenever it snows, most of them have never seen snow before
They are nuts

After the snow we had in NJ about 5yrs ago (about a ft every week for 3 weeks straight) , I told my wife I will never complain about the heat in the summer again and I never have.

Can’t stand the salt Ontario uses. We have sand/dirt they use to pack the roads here in Moosonee.

The salt gets in everything. Luckily I don't live in the city where they use straight salt. Use salt/sand around my place. Still brutal though. Never been up to Moosonee before. Always wanted to go. Only been as far as Cochrane up that way.

5 more hours from Cochrane on the train and you’d be here!

31" Road to town is closed (still), so I help out by being gopher for the grader used for clearing the road.

The truck is in the middle of the drift, not an optical illusion. They just bought the place and moved in last week.

Here near San Diego, i live in a town that is in a box canyon, the elevation is about 500 foot
For almost a full week we have had rain, up the hill at 4,500 foot, they have had snow.

The city folk drive up there to see snow, some for the very first time
The county roads are backed up all the way to the Interstate, 26 miles of vehicles, most of them can't drive on dry roads, imagine what it is like up there in the hills

Elevation 5,500 foot

Too funny...WE on the Prairies roll over laughing at the folks in Vancouver and especially Vancouver Island when they get terrified of the forecast saying "2-3 inches of snow expected." Then you wait for the video of these characters slip sliding into each other...such great morning coffee entertainment!

Husky's probably digging it!

Oh he didnt know what to do. We take him to Colorado every winter just so he can be a husky... woke up that morning confused as all hell! haha.

He did love it though. We walked him around the whole neighborhood, and he was just prancing the whole time lol.

IMG_20210502_105158189_HDR~2.jpg Sunday Oregon mountains. 2May2021. No photos, but was driving through San Antonio with all the gas stations closed and city power off. Was real dead, I was on my spare 50 gallon tank so I drove to Houston. Remind me of Walking Dead, with Texas ice all over city.
