The truck has the black accent package, so the badges were black...not that I like chrome on it anyway.

I could have bought one almost just like it, but with the clear headlights and chrome clad wheels and badges, but that, and the fact mine has the 8.4 and upgraded gauge cluster made the choice easy. I also have factory color matched Sport or R/T mirrors, not on in the original pic.

The day I brought it home:

Debadge? Badge redistribution is were it's at. Why should Jeeps be the only one with Rubicon stickers? Put one on your Mustang! Chevy thinks they are so cool with the SS emblems, buy five and put them on your Viper so it gets the full snake sound.

You debadged guys may think your truck is unique and cool, but it'll never be as cool as my Ram Town Car Mark VII with Continental kit. Yeah, it's the Eddie Bauer ZL1 edition, you've probably never heard of it.

I flat out tell my dealer no plate frames and no dealer decal. I’m not free advertising plus I like like it clean and sleek.
Same goes for debadging. I’m not a detailer guy but I don’t like the dirty rinse water that runs from behind all the badging.
I’ve thought about having just the 5.7 HEMI logo airbrushed on but it likely won’t happen.

that woukd be over a long long time i would think. heck the bed and rockers would be more likely to go by then.

We use to be so proud of what our cars were back in the day. I could tell what brand and what year a vehicle was if it got in my eye sight and the decals and badges gave proof I was right. We really didn't need the badges or decals to know what they were but they looked cool to us. Now you need something to tell you what a vehicle is now days because they are all starting to look the same. The fact is the one paying for it is the one that gets to decide, badge or no badge!

I kinda like that idea! I think the debage is a much cleaner look and I also don't have to deal with trying to wash around and clean in between the letters. But, airbrush - would still be clean.

Aw ****, I'd like to see that one. Gotta have the gun rack in the back window, a spit cup holder, headache rack, full brush guard with a winch, at least a mid-size bed for the four-wheeler, and plenty of off-road lighting for those times when you're down in the bottom in the dark (if you know what "the bottom" is - you might just be a redneck!) I say "sign me up"!
