Nice!

I had one of these
1980_kz_1000_ltd_motorcycle_10_lgw.jpg (800×533) (tenwheel.com)

I haven't been able to ride in 30 years due to the lower discs in my back being muffed up.

being a kid in the 70s, my dad got me hooked...trials was one of the aspects he got me into

now, vintage trials is a thing and i occasionally got out when time allowed (ty250 as it was easy for parts)

the biggest one is the 247 of my dads( farthest in) ..restored it a fewyears back

then had to get the rest of the collectionView attachment 240641

Those are some beautiful Montesa's! I've been kicking around the idea of getting a twin shock now that my local organization has been hosting more vintage events. But I hardly have time for the modern bike now. My dad has a couple Honda TL's and Yamaha TY's. He's got 3 (maybe 4) TY80s. One of which is a all original that has never been over a rock or log. the original paint on the frame isn't even scratched. I'll try to get a couple pictures next time if I remember.

after all the years riding/racing, the 247 was so hard to do anything with, as its a right shift left brake bike

i would have been in heaven if i had a ty80 when i was a kid

Any BMW guys around here? I tend to keep all my bikes, only let a few go that don't fit me as well. I still have my first bike, 86 Rebel 250. Runs great!

I have a 400XR dirt bike, the rest are boxer engines.

Grew up riding dirt bikes and eventually doing a little MX racing then on to road racing. Have had many many bikes over the years (dirt and road racing, no cruisers). Hung up my racing helmet a couple years ago, realized that being in my 50's and raising kids it was time to slow down a little bit (just a little bit Lol). Don't currently have any bikes in the garage other them my YZ250F dirt bike (that my son is riding in the picture) and ATV's.

Couple of my more recent bikes....

My 12 year old son on my YZ...

One of a few, but my favorite.
‘96 1200S. Built engine. All the bolt-on’s. Custom exhaust. Drop your best SOA jokes below, but I’ve heard them all haha. Been in a couple magazines and YouTube videos for a TV series that never really went far. 1975D165-80EA-44FC-B999-E9EFBC7D67AE.jpeg
