Ok so now I’m confused. How do you update it? I thought you had to use the Insight CS2 that they sell as an add on for $325 more. But apparently that is not what that’s for. So that begs my question how do you update?

Probably simply plug it into a computer, go to their website and follow directions.

Gee, wish I’d thought of that, have you even looked at the product we’re talking bout? No place to plug anything into it. Thanks for the info though.

No i havnt. I have absolutely no clue what it is really. Just know thats what I did with the ram tazer, which is the only experience I have with a tuner. Now that i reread what you quoted from me it sounds like i wrote a **** comment...that is not what i was going for at all, i was just being completely honest/serious.

You need to buy the usb cord they sell for $35 bucks I believe it was. Then you go to edges page and go to update and download there update agent and go from there. Its pretty easy as long as you have a laptop. You just plug the usb cord in the obd port on the truck and updates thru that. Usb on one end and obd on the other end of the cord. Its really easy.

See that’s what I wondered. Thank you so much!

I had my Tires Mounted today. I had the Duratrac's Mounted on my Chevy. They had 1,500 Miles on them. They should last quite a while on the 1/2 Ton.
I adjusted my Tire Size with the edge. They measured 33 1/2" from the ground. To the top. Mounted on the Truck. I went with Goodyear Ultra Terrain in 35" X 12.50" X 17" 3PMSF E Rated inflated to 50PSI . The Snow & Ice reviews . I was able to find were great. I would like to Thank @Grand Mesa for all of his help. I didn't go with the Toyo O/C CT's he recommended . Simply because they were a little too far out of my Price Range right now. I do plan to get them next time. Between my Tires, and the Pulsar. I was out about $2,500.00. Add to that our upcoming trip next week. And When I get back. I'm going to have to buy a new Riding Mower. This Working Man is done for a bit.

Ok so I had the same thing happen today that did yesterday with the eco light coming on and the gear selection not showing ( for those that don’t know, when you have MDS off it automatically sets your gear selector at 8 or 6, whatever speed transmission you have - still runs through the gears but that’s a tell to know MDS is off) and I could hear the engine kick down to 4 cylinders.
I’m actually on hold with Edge Pulsar as I type this. Gonna get this figured out I hope.

Mine quited out of gear selection one time too.
I figured I had accidentally touched a button on the steering wheel and forgot about it.

So it was not my big fingers after all :waytogo:

Will be doing the update as soon as the cable gets in.
( ordered at same time as the pulsar but from a canadian supplier to avoid those outrageous border fees. Not much stocks thought)

Well got the cable today and did the update.

I think it lifted the truck another inch. Nice.

Will update in a couple of days if I notice any real changes.

Cheerios

No idea what changed and can't find info either.

You guys know something or where to search?

I'd like to know about the update content.

Talked with tech support at Pulsar. This was a feature available on the 1st gen pulsar but had issues. They are trying to work on it for a possible update in the future. I was playing around with it and higher speeds can be increased by calibrating with smaller tire settings. This does not effect performance as tire size only programs the speedometer. The down fall is now your actual speed is faster than your speedometer. Unfortunately, I cannot test max speed with smallest tire setting because my 35's max out at 100mph. I will be doing a dyno run soon and will post some numbers.
