That 68270661Ax is a valid 2017 Ram/Cherokee RA4 VP4-NA radio PN. What does the dealer menu screen show for radio PN and sw version?

Not sure what sw version your radio and your friend's are on (18.45.01 is latest) but I have seen some oddities on these radios since the last update... ie even though the option for both cameras was supposedly removed on 13-15 radios after 17.11.x, some of those radios still support it somehow.

May also try a Reset from the radio engineering menu (see OP) or disabling/re-enabling the camera in the BCM edith AlfaOBD.

I will try the radio reset today then BCM camera settings if reset will not remedy. Here are the two pictures of my radio currently. Looks like I'm running the newest software and the corresponding part number matching the sticker on the back of the radio itself. [emoji848] What BCM camera settings do you recommend me toggling? Radio trailer hitch camera?

I may be missing it but I went back to the first post on this thread & searched for resetting and have not seen or maybe I have overlooked where it was mentioned. I believe I select "Reset Radio" but wasn't sure what the difference was between that and the "Reset to factory default" option.

UPDATE: Attempted reset radio first, then reset to factory default with no luck. After that I turned off radio trailer hitch camera then disconnected and shut truck off and let it sleep for a minute fired it back up turned it back on and no change. Finally turned off backup camera and back on and still no change.

I have not tried that yet but now I'm curious to see how it will react with the module unplugged however I also switched back to the Enigma premium when I took my UAQ out and installed the RA4. Thanks as always! I will update once I'm able to toggle these settings off/on.

TEMP UP + TEMP DOWN + FRONT DEFROST

For 6-10 secs, to get into dealer menu, then look under Radio info. ...

My 2018 (UAS 4c w/o Nav) just updated with the same version. Everything seems ok but I haven’t checked all of the functions yet.

Mopar Radio PN is on a sticker on the side of the radio (likely correlates to the Panasonic Hardware PN on the info screen)....

But that's definitely an update from the previous application version v22.6.0 to...


Latest version: v22.61.0-20200907


** Now if anyone can get a copy on USB to share from uConnect update site or a dealer **

** Also need to identify the TSB that fits with this **

Are you trying to get "a VIN" for a 2018 or "the VIN" from someone that got the OTA? If the former, I have one for a 2018 UAQ that hasn't received an OTA to 22.61...

I am running 30.24 on a uas but there is no going back to 22.6. i don't know about 22.61 I would be quessing no.if everything is working I would do like set kneel bend suggested and leave it.it seems the problem is the in the over the air process not necessarily the update file itself i.e. manual update.i would like to have a 32.4 uas file.i have access to a uaq one.

I've had it for some time I got it from on of my IT Peer's FTP (We IT Guys collect and share various uumm "things") I would lave a Copy of the UAQ 32.4 if only just to store it

Oh additionally I'm looking for the map update packages for manual updates past 2018

Search under additional uaq uas files and a thread will pull up.however when I installed the uaq 34.2 file it didn't have a map pack attached so when it was put on the radio nav didn't work so I added one from aNother file and it worked.so a use at own risk thing.

Has anyone successfully cured the loud notifications on these?

Is there a site to download updates for the UAx line of radios? Or is it OTA only?

If they let people download it I might be able to figure out the pattern again....but IIRC UAx files were not attached to the original UConnect download site.

2014 Ra3/VP3-NA v17.43.01 fw file (For PN: 68224531Ax ) and updated Post 9 (greased a palm or two to get it).

As always, the risk is yours, but I hope it gets you squared away.

I must have messed up trying to download the 18.45.01 file to the thumb drive

My radio reads that i have 17.11.07, EVEN after what the dealership said they did on the invoice below

I d/l it to a file & saw that it was zipped, i extracted it to another file.
It showed 5 files & then i inserted the 32 gig thumb drive into the computer
I saw that the thumb drive had 2 files, one was called VAULT
I dragged & dropped the 5 files in the correct order into Vault.

Then i checked to see if the 5 files were in Vault & in the correct order, they were.

I then inserted the drive into the Rams USB port & the files were not accepted, i was sitting at the dealership & he saw it too

They claimed last week that they had upgraded the radio, but that is not possible, unless i am reading something wrong
