Slow couple of days. Took way longer than I'd like to admit tweaking the exhaust and figuring out hangers. Installed the new motor mounts

It'll be about a week before I can finish up the front of the motor. Had to order a tool to install the front main seal

Had to buy a special tool just to replace the oil pan

Engine is painted (still need to paint the turbo and intake), new fuel pump, alternator, water pump and turbo oil feed line is in. Replaced the trans filter and gasket.

Great thread. Tons of progress. I had a 93 W250 with the CTD and an 01(i think) Power Ram 2500 with the same.

This is making me miss my 93. As trucks changed to the more modern look, I got so many compliments on that nice square body Dodge.

The new front seal tool came in yesterday. Had a free minute and finally got the new front crank seal in. That's been a something I've kinda been dreading doing. Fingers crossed it seals properly. I did use the crank sleeve because the crank did have a slight grove in it. Put the front cover on. Just need to torque the bolts down.

My conscious, or whatever you want to call it got the better of me and ordered a rear main seal kit. Not a 100 percent sure if it is actually leaking but I know doing it now will save a lot of headaches later.

Had enough time today to pull the transfer case. Hopefully will have enough time to pull the trans tomorrow, if not definitely Saturday

Definitely a good call on the rear main seal.

Might have missed it in the thread but what trans is in that?
