Installed the Zone UCA's today. Really easy install after I got a big enough hammer. Probably took ~45 min total. Hopefully this puts me in perfect alignment. Will be finding out tomorrow.

This was done at 27,000 miles

too bad your initials are JC, then you could call y'all JC Whitney.

Of course, you could call it JB Whitney.

Nice truck, good luck!

Truck is now in perfect alignment and rides great!

I scored a single Ultra Warlock 217's in 17x9 +1mm Offset in Bronze and black, with a Falken M/t on it. I have on order the matching 3 to go with it. Supposedly they are on national backorder but I did just get a shipping confirmation that they will arive next week. So here's to hoping that's actually true.

I also have on order some Ebay taillights from VIPMOTOZ. I got a really good deal on them and they're the style that I like. I wanted to go with a more trusted brand like alpharex or morimoto, but I don't like the look of them.

Also this past weekend I helped a buddy install a 2.5" lift on his 16 f150, and let me tell you that was a pain. The suspension on these 4th gen rams is so much easier to work with than the ford. It looked good when we were done though. Reconfirmed my decision to by RAM over ford for sure!

Spent some more time wrenching on the f150. Went back through to torque everything down and snapped a lower strut bolt at around 65lbs of torque.... of course the factory bolts were backordered, so we just went with some new 3in Rough County N3 struts. I was honestly impressed with how they rode. It felt just as good as my bils if not a little better. Bolted up some 315/70R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on Vision Manx 2 wheels and it looks real good. I'm strongly considering the visions for the RAM now.

Here are the tires for the f150 loaded in the back of my RAM

Now I really wanna go higher.... a 5/3 lift sounds really good right about now.

Picked up a pedal commander from Ohio5pt7 off the sale section. I was skeptical that it would have any performance gains, but boy was I wrong! It's 100% worth the money. Turning it up to Sport+ , +4 is an absolute blast. It really does launch the truck. But it's absolutely undriveable in that setting. I've found my preferred setting to be just the standard sport setting, or sport -1. It takes the lag out of the throttle without making it feel jerky. Once the new wears off and I fill the tank up ahead of schedule ill probably bring it down a bit.

A couple more pictures of the current set up with the new wheels.

The next couple of mods I'm thinking are a sportbar/lightbar set up, true rock sliders, and some underbody protection. <--- That is going to be fun to find for these model trucks. I want aluminum but haven't found much out there.

Rad Warlock man,
ive read on the forums here and all over, hear too many yes and no; you think i can get by with stock suspension on my 19' Warlock with 35/12.50/17 and run 1.25 or 1.5 spacers? or would i need to lift it as well??? please advise.

Thank you very much! If you're going to try to fit 35's with no lift on the Warlock it *could* be done. If you have stock offset +18mm wheels I would not add any wheel spacers. with stock uca's I cleared. It was very tight but I did. The reason I ran spacers on my stock wheel setup was because it would rub with the Zone UCA's. The ball joint knuckle is substantially larger and causes rubbing without some extra backspacing. If you increase your track width in the front you will rub on the fenders with no lift. Without a lift on the front it's going to be pretty tight in there. You could remove the wheel liners and then you would be fine. Also I would recommend going with the BF Goodrich KO2's. They seem to run small enough to fit.

Installed part 1 of skid plates today. Did the transfer case skid and crossmember. Fairly easy install. Just a little awkward doing it by myself. A couple jackstands and it was all good. definitely a little more piece of mind while offroading

I've been wrestling the idea back and forth about a little bit more lift on the truck. I originally wanted to do something of a 5/3 lift. However 1, its stupid expensive and 2 fitment with the current wheels and tires seem to be a no go. So I'm strongly considering the 1.5 Zone BL. I know I'm gonna lose the tow hooks... until I can figure out a new way to make a mount. And the fitment of the rebel bumper might be a little tricky. But I think itll be worth it for that little extra bit of height that I want without sacrificing my nice factory ride, and garage/parking deck fit.

How it sits now

Using some jacks to mimic 1.5" of body lift.

Zone Body Lift is on. Went with the 1.5”. shout out to Nick for getting these here so quick! Install process took from 8am-10pm. Of that time probably 6-7 hours were spent turning wrenches. I love the height and stance of everything. With the Bils at 2.8, the rear ram lift springs, and the 1.5 body lift I’m sitting at a 4” lift that still rides better than stock and fully functional off road. I’ll update with an install write up for any that are looking to do this themselves.

Been busy with the truck lately.

We are planning a week long 4x4 trip to Moab this September. With that I've been scouring Marketplace for a good deal on a tent set up. Luckily was able to find nearly everything for a good price.

Only a couple more things to do and I think she'll be ready for the trip.

More Marketplace deals... lol picked up some timbrens for the ram. Put them on before We rode some light trails yesterday with the truck loaded down with gear. I wanted to see how they would do. Unloaded with the ~1.5" lift they never really touch.

This is with the tent, rack, awning, full size spare, tool box, and some water.

IMG_7798.jpg

As you can see There's still about an inch of Gap. It rides absolutely fine going down the road. However I did notice on some rougher spots on the trail it did feel much more like a 2500. I'm not sure if I'll leave them in or not for Moab.

They have been really nice for towing though. Of which I tow at least twice a month around 5000 lbs.

If you need some better rear springs Jeep Gladiator Coils all day. Obviously you don't change payload capacity, but the way it handles payload is beyond composed. I had mine loaded down to near max payload on a dump run, just about 800lbs, stuffed in 3ft between the bed box and tailgate. Sat level and drove prefect, and with them being longer im able to get much more flex out of the rear. 28" extended rear shocks. These stock rear coils are embarrassing from ram, they are legit on the front on my jeep xj now.

I have Synergy +2" Gladiator rear coils.

I have been strongly considering getting some Gladiator coils after seeing you and @ram1500rsm running them. My drawback to that is when I'm unloaded (which is 90% of the time) I'll have to much rear rake... So gotta find that nice balance. The "HD" stock coils I have in now are really good honestly. If I didn't haul with an extremely high tongue weight on occasion I would have never got the timbrens. But they are really easy to swap in and out. You're not kidding about the rear stock shocks. I REALLY need to get some new rear shocks... and 2.5 front coil overs haha. Oh well its a slow build.

The next project is most likely going to be some legit homemade rock sliders. Just got a new shop so should be able to get a lot of cool stuff fab'd up. First thing we'll be selling are affordable overland tent racks.

I've been busy working on the truck and using it the last month.

Took a wheeling trip to the Idaho Springs area in Colorado.

Truck did absolutely great on that trip. However Glamping tends to add a lot of weight. So the rear suspension is getting an upgrade. I have Superlift Sl-140 springs that will be paired with some Icon shocks. We'll try that in the rear for our upcoming trip next week.

Also have been working hard in the shop making products.

Bed Racks are done, Was going to go bronze to match the wheels....but it looked really bad on the truck so going back to black.

Installed a hooke road roof rack. I searched and it seemed this was one of the only roof racks available for the quad cab. The install rough. The quality of the fitment was not great. Also drilling out the holes on the rood was not fun. Oh well its done and it does look good.

I've been looking at that rack. Would you buy it again?

BTW I consider that area home turf. Spent most of my formative years in Caribou, Lots of time on Switzerland trail, and time around the mines in central city and of course Oh My God Rd. The in laws had a cabin up behind Idaho springs on Soda Creek. So we've spent time on Barbour Forks.

great fun, beautiful area.
