I'm a little confused my pinout is 26 pins where I connect my 3 lines of AC then in this pinout which will be the number 30 pin since it is different from the one you have your 43 pin

ok kad I tried what you said to see what happened with my attenuation of my multi switch but still no sign of it working this was working fine before installing my power inverter you know it could be the problem kad or STECOD

Have you tried disconnecting the inverter and checking to see if the switch starts working again?

you know if I had to see something with alpha when I did the programming maybe for some reason I moved something I should not or maybe this is because I replaced the power inverter fuse that by mistake when I tried to remove it I broke it and bought another one to replace it

So, I have read most of the posts here with little understanding. I have a 17 2500 with the Tradesman trim and a diesel, I have a 17 seat w/ factory inverter and harness. What I am trying to understand is this; if I don't have all the wires coming out of the harness in the floor to the connector now, how hard is it going to be to tie into the harness if the wires are already there? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, there I see that there is a Inverter Status Indicator Driver pin on the INverter. Where does this pin out? I also see there is a Inverter Switch Signal on the Black Connector in the passenger footwell, AND at the plug iteself in the dash.

I then also see there is a Inverter Switch Signal on the BCM.

I have a 2014 Tradesman, so I am doing most of the wiring from scratch. I drew up the below, but am unsure about what to do about the Inverter Status Indicatior Driver on the inverter, and the Inverter Switch Signals on the black plug, and the BCM. Rght, the inverter status just sends back to BCM that it's working. You would only need this if you are enabling the inverter through the BCM. BCM may throw a fault code, or shut off the outlet without that signal.

Anyone happen to have some extra of the male IP3 body side connectors?

I ordered an inverter kit from a vendor and it's been a less than pleasant experience and I'm to the point that I'm done with the back and fourth and just want to get this completed.

Looking for male terminals:
3x 7114-4101-02
3x 7114-4112-02

Qty. 3 because I'm still pretty good at failing to crimp the terminals to the wire.

I am currently waiting on the parts to do this mod on a 2016 1500 SLT CC and this thread looks very helpful except most of the pics from the original post are no longer available, knowing that the outlet is different from op but i think most of the wiring is the same but i will be needing a harness for it as i have not looked at the connector in the passenger footwell yet.

Edit, wrong thread, I thought I was in the Remote Start thread. Talk to mpgrimm anyway, hey may still do inverter harnesses as well, he did mine a couple of years ago.


Talk to @Mpgrimm2 here on the forum, he makes them. He has two models, one that goes from under the PDC to the BCM and one that goes all the way from the latch to the BCM (if you dont' have any of the wiring)

I was gonna reach out to him originally he made me a harness for the hood latch to do the remote start mod. @deerguy was in this thread so I figured why not let's give him a shout.

Does anybody have the pinout for the inverter plug? The pictures that Moab_Rockstar shared are not visible any longer.
