thank you for your support.According to an online calculator, 295/70R17 tires are 42mm taller than the Yokohama Geolandar AT LT265/70R17E tires my truck came with, which means my speedo will indicate ~57mph when I'm actually doing 60mph. I'll use AlfaOBD to adjust.
Pretty much based on your photo , I went ahead and ordered a set of Yokohama Geolandar X-ATs yesterday - had them on my previous truck and liked them a lot.
BTW, thank you for your service, sir! My truck wears the front plate with submariner dolphins that was on my Dad's truck before he passed in 2018. He qualified on the SS-477 Congor and was an E3 Machinist Mate on the SSR-312 Burrfish (radar picket sub), in charge of the two Fairbanks-Morse 9-cylinder, opposed-piston 'rock crusher' diesels in the forward engine room (he had some good sea stories!).

Coming together really niceView attachment 471962
Installed fogs the other day and the sport hood decal this afternoon. My aux switch harness arrived a few days ago, so the next project is to get that installed and hook up the fogs and grille marker lights.

The SRA's look like good tires in the beginning, but they are awful. Wear bad and are noisy.New rubber as the SRA's are crap so went with Cooper discovery at 3 and fitted my Lyell's stainless steel aggressive muffler.
That they do.When sra get down to about 50% of tread they pick up everything they roll over and will puncture themselves with a beer tab.lol
Gave it a bath and installed some door handle lighting

I bought these and tapped them into my window controls, then took my dremel and put a small hole in the bezel for around the door handle and 3m taped the light to the back side of that bezel. You can buy the mopar kit for it but it was $56 a side for a light and piece of plastic. Figured I’d give this a try first for the price. Looks factory to me.I like that. How'd you go about it?
Great looking rig!!
Thanks appreciate it!Great looking rig!!
