Thanks. I looked them up and not too bad a price !
Are they plug and play ?
Any codes?
Do they fit just like the stock bulbs and do not have to leave the access door off ?

Thanks
I have the Fahren bulbs in my lows highs and fogs. 100% true plug and play and dust covers DO FIT back on. You will have to adjust the bulbs to a 9&3 position to get the best output though.
Had mine over a year with NO ISSUES

Good to know the dust covers still fit ! SO I assmune the bulb adjustment is on the bulb ? And the RAM only does up and down on a 2015 ? I know old scholl was adjusting the light frame L/R and Up and down

Woolwaxing my Ram today. Got a little hotplate that I'm using to get it very hot and thin. They say this sticks much better to the frame than FF. It's basically the same thing just a bit thicker.

I had KROWN done to mine. Expect it to drip for several days ! If you do not have a dirt driveway I would put card board under it ti catch the drips ! They say the stains will wash off the hot top if that happens

So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
I lifted & switched back to my mbrp tips, liked the 5” tips but they were getting chips on the edges.

Yes the adjustment is on the actual bulb.
I had a 15 Sport with projector bulbs and ya you could only move the assemblies up and down

I've heard good things about Krown. I don't have one anywhere near me. I had a local dealer Fluid Film my vehicle last year and they did a crappy job. Very stingy application, nothing in doors or rocker panels, a complete ripoff. I complained and they offered to do over. I declined, bought 5 gallons of woolwax and spent hours today going to town on it. I sprayed thinner stuff into the doors.

Bummer aboout a bad job. The guy who did mine hit the doors, tailgate, rocker panel as well. even behind the bumper. Then washed the truck after the job was done

Ok, I gotta fess-up...... didn't know what the heck "wool waxing" was. Still sounds like a "Man Scaping" thing, or some kind of a bush that really hasn't been trimmed in a really long time shakehead.gif.

What kind of person wants to "wool wax his Ram"...... I'm sure theres gotta be some law against that

I know I'm in So. Calf ,but seriously that sounds like some really creepy stuff.

Ahhhh, Cosmoline !!! Why didn't you say so :waytogo:

From what I've read cosmoline is petroleum based. I hear it's good stuff.
Fluid film and woolwax are lanolin oil based, extracted from sheep's wool.

I'm super pleased with woolwax. I put it on for the first time last summer and after a year it hasn't worn off much (granted I didn't put a lot of miles on, either). It really makes a thick greasy coat and stays there. I just used the spray cans, but I didn't have any dripping. It smells ok too, I've read that fluid film isn't real pleasant.

In my continuing efforts to remove all chrome, I finished part of the interior. Not bad for an amateur working outside with spray cans.

It's all in the "details", Nice job :waytogo:

Had no idea. Have delt with numerous cars with Cosmoline, and the removal of it.

Granted there's rare occasion you'd need it out here, but can understand with road salt etc why. In the concours circuit, theres 2 schools of thought.... 1. remove it, as its a dirt collector, and covers up much of the undercarriage detail. 2. Remove it, but then reapply a cleaner coat, but that can get messy. Either way you won't be deducted points, but it is a personal preference and good arguments for and against.

I'm always learning something new on this site. Who would have known :waytogo:

I got the Toyota masks when the wife bought her C-HR. Haven't found a decent Ram mask yet.

The rings on the A/C and headlight controls come off if you get a small screwdriver under the rig itself. The whole center of the A/C control knob comes out and the small lens just snaps out. The one on the radio doesn't want to come off that easy and I still haven't found a way to remove the chrome around the shifter.
