The dealer where I purchased my 06 mega cab called and offered to buy back the truck for what I paid, (13k) do you all think its worth it? IMHO I don't think it's a good deal considering I will never find another truck n such good shape for the price/year. I only put 25k miles on and no major repairs yet. Tia guys.

Well, what is the truck actually worth? With everything going on right now, dealers are having issues filling lots. Dodge dealers (my aunt works at one) are actually looking for Scats, SRT's, Rams, etc to buy outright from people to put on their lots for inventory. She asked if I was looking to get rid of my SRT lol.

The truck's worth what the market will pay for it. Your truck with 25k miles on it should be selling for 19k - 21k (KBB), the trade-in range is 14k - 16k. If you don't need the truck you could counter their offer with $19k and see what they do.

Always start high, if high book is 21k go above that. Never be afraid to shoot for the moon......especially when they are cold calling.

It's only worth it if you think it is. If its your only vehicle then you'll need to buy something else to replace it which may not work out in your favor since prices are through the roof.

i got a better deal selling mine to a dealer instead of trading it in after i bought my power wagon.i took it in for front end work and they made me an offer i couldn't refuse.

It's only worth 10-15k private sale, so I would basically just break even. Wife wants to jump on it but I'm not going to. It gets used enough to keep it insured and comes in handy when needed.
