First, the bed on the OP truck looks awfully good for having a plastic liner in it for years. I've seen them removed after only four years and the paint was rubbed through in many spots.

I've seen a few of the factory applied spray-ins and after a number of years they look pretty good, and no one I talked to was dissatisfied in any way.

I've got the Ziebart version, which someone said is really the Linex material, and after 44 months it's been okay and nothing to complain about. But, I miss my Bedrug!

I definitely lucked out with my bed. I think it's because the previous owner also didn't use the truck as a work truck. I can tell, because the plastic liner didn't have any gouges out of it, or any damage to it.

I agree that the factory spray-ins don't look bad, but I do notice that they grey fast (perhaps they don't use the UV coating), and they are more rubberized than what you get from a line-x dealer. I think that may be because of a thinner spray or different material. I agree, I don't know anyone who isn't satisficed with the factory liner. I think it is "good enough," in the sense that, it will last the lifetime most people keep their trucks. I do not think it will last as long as a line-x applied bed liner, if the truck is used as a work truck (but if you only keep it for 5-7 years, who cares right?).

I have the MaxCare lifetime warranty, I will keep this truck for a LONG time, especially since it isn't a daily driver.

Have you considered getting a bed mat like I have? Cheap ($110), and easily removed for cleaning. My knees love it.
