hey guys, I just wanted to take your opinion on the 2/4 belltech lowering kit on a 2018 2wd single cab 5.7 ram are there any negatives about this kit

Order the 964nd kit with the track bar relocation and end links, they are necessary. The shocks will likely last about a year before they need replaced. You will need different bump stops. Which comes in the kit. It's a fairly common kit
thats weak of them not to include those parts. what different bump stops did you use?Correct. I would also tell you, I ended up cutting my front bump stop cups off and using a different item as I still bottomed the front suspension at higher speed. Removing the cups, and using a different bump stop significantly reduced bump steer.
update, the 964sp came in yesterday and has all the parts in question in the box.
it's good, i had to bend the gas tank shield a little. it was rubbing on the drive shaft.A few months later... How's your experience been with this kit?
Appreciate the feedback. Are your wishes to do the brackets and control arms due to instability issues? Do you think the bottoming out issue is from the control arm mounts hitting the frame, or bump stop contact? Maybe removing the entire bump stop/cup and replacing with a smaller unit would help...?it's good, i had to bend the gas tank shield a little. it was rubbing on the drive shaft.
i've bottomed out a few times. but that is part of the life
for the most part it rides very smooth.
love the stance.
oh i did use different front bump stops then the ones supplied
i believe that is the one i used..
i would like to add some ihc brackets, but with them no longer making the no cut kit that wont be happening anytime soon.
also want to add core4x4 control arms. but will probably do that when i do the ihc bracket kit
Thanks for the info. Trying to map out my plans for converting my Rebel w/ air suspension to a 2/4 drop kit. A lot of mixed info out here. And since lowering isn't common, the waters are a bit muddy.i wanna do the bracket kit to have proper control arm angle. i'm not having any instability issues. i did add a 3/4 rear sway bar at the say time as the drop.
i'm not 100% sure whats hitting when it bottoms out. havent had a chance to get under it and see.
the only times its bottomed out has been hitting LARGE bumps or train tracks at speed that i didnt see coming in time to slow down
yeah i dont have air suspension, so not sure how much my info will helpThanks for the info. Trying to map out my plans for converting my Rebel w/ air suspension to a 2/4 drop kit. A lot of mixed info out here. And since lowering isn't common, the waters are a bit muddy.
