Hello everyone. I’m looking for some pricing insight.

It’s been over a year since a sold my 2020 PowerWagon because the offer for it was above what I paid for it. I was driving a lot of highway miles every month too, so opting for something more fuel efficient and better for cruising the interstate seemed wise.

Today and in the foreseeable future I’m working remotely and won’t be on the highway save for a few 400 mile round trips to visit family 4-5 times a year. So, I’m reconsidering having a PowerWagon (even though the 2018 Land Rover Discovery diesel I’ve been driving has been good; 27 mpg, comfortable). The truck bed utility with off-road capability for mostly overland use and more capable towing capabilities (my Discovery can tow about 7,000 lbs, but it has no trailer brake or the tow package) have been sorely missed.

So, what is the best deal range you think I can get (or hold out for) on a 2020-2021 PowerWagon with the upgraded leather and screen? I’ve found a black one with under 20k miles fairly nearby. The dealer is asking $64900. It was a local trade, so good records. No accidents and everything looks clean. I think $61k would be a good deal (though that’s above what I paid for my loaded 2020). What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Breaking our trailers hasn’t been an issue, but I can understand your concern while towing with the Power Wagon versus a Land Rover.

Used vehicle market is crazy stupid as are the prices. Personally. I'd wait or buy new.

Just for perspective, I bought a 2021 Anvil 75th Anniversary edition 2 weeks ago in UT. Had 9,500 miles on it and was $70k. The market is crazy right now.

The used market pricing is declining and the MSRP’s of new well-equipped PowerWagons is absurd ($75-77k). I think the only way to get any decent discount (10-14%) is via ordering. Yet, fully equipped and low mileage 2020-2021’s are in the $62-65k range per asking price. Waiting may be the best answer. I’m not sure buying a new one is a better option than buying a used one though.

My 2022 had a 75K sticker and I paid $67,500 brand new in May. Level 2 loaded with many other options.

you might find or (already have) that it was a big mistake to get rid of the truck. should of kept it and got a old corrolla for $1500 to commute. for a breif second i considered trading mine for new model then realized what a stupid idea it was

Well, as of last night, I’m glad to be back in a 2021 Patriot Blue PowerWagon (1 owner; 27k miles; 1st owner added Amp Research Powersteps) after selling my 2021 Olive Green in March of last year. I plan on holding on to this one for quite awhile! Thanks for all the input as I found the right PW for me. This one was on the lot one day and I think I was fortunate to find it before someone else did considering the way it was equipped, low miles and great condition, and the price. I’ve attached a photo and the original window sticker.#patriotpower

That is a beauty and I love the options! Congrats! What would be the purpose of dual alternators on a PW? Just curious.
